"This villa was the perfect size and location for my wife and me to spend the weekend. We walked to Night Heron Park to rent the bicycles, then rode all over the island. The screened porch with the swing overlooking the trail and lagoon was the best! The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, but we would have appreciated some sugar packets, etc for the morning coffee.
Jim was easy to work with and his recommendations were invaluable!"

"We go to Kiawah at least once a year, but haven't stayed on West Beach in 20 years since we prefer East Beach. I could not find any on East Beach at the price I wanted to pay, so settled for West Beach. Wonderful unit, great location, particularly for Winter months, when I one is not going to stroll over the Sanctuary at night anyway. Doesn't have an ocean view like some much more costly rentals on upper level of Shipwatch, but we didn't miss it. One word of caution, the Island free shuttle does not go to Freshfields. If you are willing to walk ½ mile, they can drop you off at Cassique. From condo to Freshfields would not be a bad bike ride either. Of course, those with cars will have no problem getting there. Free shuttle can take you to anywhere else you would dream of going on the island."

"I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our vacation this year. This was our first visit to beautiful Kiawah and this adorable cottage. It is lovingly maintained, cozy and charmingly decorated (my son counted 91 turtle pictures or figurines). Every room feels like home--and the kitchen is ideal for family meals.
The location was perfect: less than a ten minute walk to see the sunrise over the ocean, and an even shorter walk to see the sunset at the river dock with other neighborhood families. It wasn't until our vacation was nearly over that we realized we hadn't driven our car anywhere!
We and our four children (ages 10-15), enjoyed swimming in the pool and ocean, crabbing, fishing, kayaking and biking--often in the same day! We encountered deer and dolphins up close on a regular basis, and large, ocean birds flying under palmettos and huge live oaks dangling with Spanish moss
This is a vacation home like no other."

"This was our first time to Kiawah, The location of the home was perfectly placed near the beach. We felt so comfortable with my 7 family members. We enjoyed the bikes that were provided. The outdoor shower was a blessing so that we could spray of the kids before going into the house. We will return for sure! Also enjoyed feeling so safe, the neighborhood was wonderful."
