"We had a wonderful week at the Village Retreat in McClellanville. The house was fabulous with all the amenities you could want. It was clean and very nicely decorated. It was great having the large garage for vehicle storage and the back screened in porch was ideal for conversation and relaxation. The fresh fish market only a stones throw away was a great place to buy large, fresh shrimp and the restaurant in town called J W Graham's was an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.
The location was central to Charleston and Myrtle Beach which made for great motorcycle rides in either direction. We would recommend this house for others traveling through or for a destination trip."

"We had a fabulous time. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the pictures does not do it justice. We were in awe when we pulled up. Boating and hanging out on the porches was our daily activities. The kids fell in love with the outdoor game room. And the outdoor kitchen was perfect for cookouts. Great relaxing vacation."

"We had a wonderful and relaxing time!!! We brought our boat with us and fished every morning! Was perfect!!! For boaters, the house dock/water level gets very low at low tide, you cannot come or go during this time! We planned all our trips around high and low tide, so it was not a problem for us. We enjoyed the local dolphin that would come up to our boat looking for food:). We also saw 6 alligators near casino creek one morning. My. Pleasant was not too far. We ate at our favorite place there a couple of times, Pages Fried Okra....so good!!! We stay again!"

"This was our second time staying at this house and loved it even more than the first time. We are already discussing plans for another trip back! The house and location are amazing. The pictures posted don't do justice to what you'll find. There is plenty of space inside as well as out. We enjoyed catching up rocking on the screened porch and the kids spent hours playing wiffle ball and tag in the huge yard. We spent a lot of time on the water boating and kayaking as well as on the covered dock which overlooks Jeremy Creek. We passed a lot of time watching the shrimp boats coming and going and the dolphin playing. It's an easy boat ride to the Cape Romain lighthouse where we anchored at a beach close to it. It was like having our own private paradise! Isle of Palms is only about a 45 minute boat ride to the south and Georgetwon to the North. The kids loved checking the crab pot every day and we enjoyed eating the bounty of the creek...which was plentiful! The owner is so easy to work with and is very helpful with making sure that his guests have all the information needed to have an amazing time. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would whole heartedly recommend it. You could not ask for a more relaxing place to vacation. It truly is a little piece of heaven and we look forward to making many more memories here. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with others!"
