"This was a great location and the house was super clean!! I have stayed in lots of rentals and this was one of the cleanest I have seen....very impressive!! It was a wonderful layout for my elderly parents. It had a great fenced backyard for my little doggy.....we just loved everything about this house. We would love to stay here again sometime. Thanks so much Arline and Jack for sharing your lovely home and by the way your neighbors are great!! Thanks again!!!"

  • Great Vacation Rental and Perfect Location!

"This rental was just as described. It was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The location was just as described...close to downtown and the beach yet still feeling like you were out away from the city. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and felt like we had plenty of space. In summary, we were very pleased with the overall description and quality of the home. That being said, there was a few nit-picky things that bugged us a bit. The ice maker in the fridge didn't work so we had to buy several bags of ice throughout the week, the magnet on the shower door had corroded away so the door wouldn't stay closed which caused water to accumulate on the floor, and we ran out of toiletries within two days (paper towel, toilet paper, etc.) Those are small things, and the last of which the owner graciously took care of very quickly, which was fantastic. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future."

  • Wonderful place to stay!

"My husband, myself and our two daughters ages 11 and 14 could not have had a better experience than we did at this home. We traveled to Mount Pleasant for a wedding and stayed a few days longer to enjoy the beautiful weather this time of year since we are from Boston.I was extremely happy with the cleanliness of the entire place as well the location. All 3 of the beds were comfortable in each room, we all slept great. Larry, the owner, could not have been easier to work with and more accommodating while giving us our space. During the day we either went to Isle of Palms or Sullivans Island to swim, both are beautiful beaches and just minutes away. Sullivans Island is quieter and offers off street parking or Isle of Palms is just 5 dollars to park for the day and has stores, ice cream and food vendors. It was nice to come back from the beach and throw towels and wet suits in the washer & dryer. One day we spent a few hours in the pool, it was lovely. Its right out the back entrance from the front door, literally 3 minute walk. Plenty of lounge chairs to relax, very well maintained. Charleston is also a short drive from the home and we spent a day shopping and learning the areas history. Two nice restaurants we really enjoyed, The Boat House for a special evening sitting out on the back deck watching the dolphins and boats and Poe's which is by Sullivans Island, casual, fun and great salads and burgers! We will definitely be back and plan on staying here again!"

  • Nice house in great location!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house, which is convenient to all the sights in the Charleston area. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood, and we felt very safe. The screened in porch and BBQ grill were great for outdoor dining. The beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean. The owner was wonderful and very prompt with communication. We would love to stay in this house again!"
