"My family of 7 (all adults) came to Charleston for the week for my son's wedding. We could not have been happier having chosen this area and this house. I have only rented "on line" sight unseen, once prior to this experience, it did not work out at all like this one. Plenty of room for everyone to be "together" but also room to have your own space. It was very hot the entire week but we still enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong and grilling out. When a few minor problems did arise, they were handled immediately ! The location was private but within minutes of everything we wanted. A W Shucks in downtown Charleston has the BEST Snickers pie I have ever had. Would love to return to the area on a "regular" vacation, I only hope this property is available then."

  • Love this property!!!

"We loved this house! Everything about it was exactly as described and the photos are current. SOOO clean and comfortable beds. TV/DVR in every room....Wi-Fi was also available. The yard is fenced and completely private in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Our two small dogs loved the back yard. From the moment we opened the door it was such a joy to call it home for our stay. Walking into this house just makes you smile. There is a lot of info on places to go and things to do found in the house. In additional to all of the wedding activities in Historic Charleston, we spent out time in Mt. Pleasant. You have a perfect vacation house. f I could make one suggestion. A recliner to put the feet up and snuggle into. My husband claimed the wonderfully comfortable sofa! Thank you so much Arline!"

  • Family Time

"We had a wonderful week at your house. My kids are 21 and 17 and they loved the location. It was so convenient to walk across the street and drop our kayaks and we also rented Paddle Boards from Charleston Paddler which is right there too. What a beautiful creek and I think we saw the same two dolphins each time we went out. We also enjoyed great bike rides; one day we rode to Sullivans Island and we also rode over The Cooper River Bridge a couple of times. We also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. We had dinner at the Mexican place that is in the shopping center on the corner (very good) and we also walked to Page's Okra twice which is an outstanding place to eat. We went into Charleston a few times also which is very easy to get to from the house. We took advantage of the table in the den and did two puzzles while we were there. The house was comfortable and made you feel relaxed which for us was a nice way to end the Summer before the kids went back to school. We were also able to take our dogs and they really enjoyed the back yard (it is huge!) Thanks so much for sharing your home with us."

  • Can't beat it!

"Had to talk my wife into staying here, but she appreciated it once she came. The price is excellent compared to Charleston or Mt. Pleasant prices. It is a very short drive to downtown Charleston, Patriot's Point, or other tourist attractions. There are numerous places to eat nearby, including Charleston's Cafe, two blocks away. Grocery store is three blocks. The cottage itself is clean and nicely decorated, the place is very quiet - no drunks or kids running down the hotel corridor at night! Having the kitchen for several days helps keep vacation dining costs down. Cable TV has many many channels. Bedding was comfortable. Free laundry services available. The property is adequately maintained, not pristine but the outside shows a little wear and tear. Would recommend a stay here."
