  • Mini-Family Reunion

"We rented this home for a mini-family reunion that included relatives from ages 7 to 84. This home was the PERFECT place for all of us who traveled from Georgia, North Carolina, and various locations in South Carolina, including Goose Creek and Summerville, SC. The owner was very responsive to our every inquiry before arriving and for the duration of our stay. We loved everything about this home, from the elevator in the garage for my senior citizens, to the pool table on the 3rd level, to the outside deck, to the hammock and the beautiful landscape. And the two Kitchens: Big Kitchen and Little Kitchen.....anyone who loves to cook, these are your dream kitchens. As my aunt said....."We can cook the devil himself, with these kitchens"; and I believe we did. :) There were a couple of minor issues, however, the owner assisted us in every way. And, although the WiFi kept going in and out, it was okay, as we all had our own personal hotspot to connect; plus, it allowed us to interact with each other the old fashioned way – talking, laughing and enjoying each others company. We just viewed it as being on a Technology Fast!!! :) The young adults enjoyed their bike ride to the beach, while most of the older family members chose to drive or walked there. We’re definitely planning to return maybe, in between our regular family reunion. The only negative thing I can say is that the pictures doesn’t do any justice to this home. You’ll have to experience it for yourself and watch the sunrise from deck!"

  • Very nice

"Very much enjoyed this comfortable home. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and there were many nice places to sit and enjoy the views depending on the time of day. In the mornings we sat and drank coffee on the back porch overlooking the waterway and in the evening the top floor balcony was the perfect place to enjoy the ocean breezes which watching the golfers on the golf course. The walk to the beach is a little long with small children but there was plenty of parking spaces offered closer to the beach. Overall we would definitely go back to this welcoming home. The owner was also very helpful in providing information and sharing her love of this beautiful island."

  • Awesome home!

"Our family of 7 visited Seabrook Island for the first time this year and had an amazing time! The home was beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for our family. Our favorite room was probably the large open living room that overlooked our back terrace/marsh. We had deer in our back yard every day coming from the marsh and out the front was our short 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Really was the best of both worlds! Our only comment for families coming is that it is not within walking distance to the beach pools if you use the amenity cards. You would have to drive or ride your bikes to get there. Overall...we loved it and would recommend the house to other families!!"

  • Beautiful property

"I stayed at this property with my family the last week of March 2015. I have had a variety of rental experiences on Kiawah, and this was our first experience in Seabrook. This house is just a minute or so walk to the boardwalk leading to North Beach, which is really beautiful especially at low tide when it gets very wide. The houses in this area are set back from the beach quite a ways b/c of wide dunes, and this house is basically the second row of houses from the beach (but with no road between you and the beach). You can seem some of the ocean from the house, and you can definitely hear it. The house was very well equipped compared to other houses I've been to, especially re kitchen/cooking supplies and beach stuff. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Our week was chilly and kind of rainy, and I was thankful to have a comfortable, clean haven from the weather when needed. The king beds were both comfortable and my daughter was very happy with the colorful, comfortable bunk room. We had 4-5 people during our week and could have comfortably had a few more--the house is quite spacious, and has a nice big kitchen and table for meals. Could definitely work for two families if the kids shared the bunk room. We didn't get to use it much, but also a couple of great porches, one screened, one open to the sun. Great house, and I hope to stay there again."
