"Just completed our fifth year on Seabrook Island and our first in this High Hammock Villa. It was very clean with quality appliances, furniture and fixtures. Everything was convenient and well thought out in this unit which made for stress free vacation. It was just perfect for a retired couple and we loved that the second bedroom was a sitting room for us for extra TV viewing when we didn't want to watch the same programs! We have rented it for another 6 1/2 weeks for next year and really look forward to staying there agian."

"Many pros to this rental: location near the entrance of the island was very nice. rental is across the street from the activity center (which has a child-friendly outdoor pool) - rental includes amenity card. washer-dryer in unit is very convenient. Wi-Fi and cable are a plus.
Some cons: said to come with fully equipped kitchen, but there is no measuring cup (at least none that we found). no Tupperware for leftovers. no plastic cups or plates for little ones. dust bunnies found close to the walls behind the chairs in the livingroom. the thing is the chairs aren't heavy, so it would be easy move them aside to clean the floors well. the broom-dustpan set don't pick up dirt very well - very frustrating to try and clean with them.
Although there were some nuisances, I would still recommend this unit and would consider staying here again. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay in this unit."

"We had a great time at the house. It was super comfortable and extremely organized. We had everything we needed. We would rent the house again in a heartbeat. Great house for golf lovers. You can walk to the golf club house and first tee and the beach and beach house."

"Our extended family (13 of us) converged on this property from several states for the occasion of my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect location for what we desired--celebration of family time in a restful setting for a full week. The house was well-equipped to handle five couples and three singles. Each couple took their turn cooking dinner, and each of us enjoyed working in the spacious kitchen. Eating in the great room posed no space problem for a group of our size, but our favorite meals were enjoyed on the massive screened in porch, surrounded by the Spanish moss laden trees. Our favorite perk of the property was the floating dock with the available boats. Every day we enjoyed fishing, boating, and the frequent dolphin sightings. Exploring the inlets by kayak was my favorite activity. Although we toured downtown Charleston, went parasailing at Tidal Wave Water Sports, visited Angel Oak, and toured the Charleston Tea Plantation; we were eager to get back to the property to enjoy the dock and the marvelous sunsets. We spent several evenings playing board games together in the great room, and we left behind plenty of laughter in the walls. The property owners were very helpful, and when we called them on a Sunday to report a leak in the kitchen sink, they came over within a few hours and fixed the problem. Yes, we plan to return to this ideal vacation spot. Our grown children refer to this week as our "best ever" vacation!"
