  • Nice!!

"We had a wonderful time in this Summerwind Cottage on Seabrook Island. The owners are more than helpful with any questions you might have, and they want to make sure you have a great time when you stay at their cottage. Seabrook Island is a wonderful place to connect with your kids. We loved riding bikes and seeing all the wildlife!!"

  • Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

"We have stayed in Seabrook a few times before and this was our best trip yet. The accomodations were immaculate! The unit was very clean and very well decorated with upscale furnishings. The sunsets were amazing from the porch and the beach, which was a short walk down the boardwalk. The beach was not crowded, the ocean was smooth and we saw dolphins many times. We also enjoyed watching the pelicans flying over the ocean and diving into the water. We saw tons of deer throughout Seabrook and even some that walked right up to the outside porch. The owner was very accomodating and a pleasure to work with. We will be contacting him again for our next trip."

  • We wish we were still there!

"We have just returned from a beautiful and relaxing week at your Seabrook Island condo. Our only regret is that we had to return to NC and have to go back to work tomorrow. The pictures cannot give you an idea of the amount of space and comfort we had at the condo. Sunday and Monday were overcast, but we went in to Charleston one day and rode horses on the beach at Seabrook the next. The rest of the week provided perfect weather and the bicycles were the perfect mode of transportation to the Beach Club. We purchased an amenity card the first day there and definitely got our money's worth in towels and umbrellas and comfy lounge chairs at the Beach Club. We ate at some great restaurants and enjoyed all the fresh seafood we could hold. Chez Fish, Red's, Amy's Italian Steakhouse, and the King Street Grille were just a few of our favorites. We chose to get groceries on the island at the Harris Teeter at Freshfields. They had everything we could want or need for our big breakfasts and light lunches. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That being said, we have found our beach in Seabrook and hopefully our eventual retirement community at High Hammock Villas. Thanks for the introduction, Karen and Ray."

  • Nice early summer getaway

"We wanted a vacation that met the needs of a beach bum and a tourist, so something reasonably close to Charleston was the goal. This condo fit the bill. The unit was spotless and well maintained, and comfortable. We appreciated access to the beach toys (chairs, boogie boards, pails). Owners' signs and notes in the unit were helpful. Seabrook Island is a unique place, that's for sure. Not my style of beach, but we saw dolphins and the pelicans dive bombing for food were quite entertaining. The unit is near the beach club, with great pools, and game room (with free billiards and ping pong), a gift shop and restaurant. Nearness to Charleston was perfect--the harbor tour, carriage tours, and Patriots Point historic Navy ships were fantastic. We also enjoyed the Charleston Tea Plantation tour. There's plenty to do here and I'm sure travelers of any age can take advantage of things we didn't have the time to explore. One warning--be prepared for the closest grocery not to be open if you arrive after hours. Stock up on basic needs on the way to the island to get you through breakfast if you arrive late (we arrived after 8 pm on a Sunday evening and had to drive further back for those basics)."

The sunsets from this venue will be great, but not as good as the ones from your private balcony at Seabrook Island beach rentals.

Seabrook Island Vacation Homes near Aiken-Rhett House

Historic Charleston is about 30 minutes from Seabrook Island vacation homes. This area of South Carolina offers more than restaurants and shopping.
