  • Enjoyed this villa

"Just completed our fifth year on Seabrook Island and our first in this High Hammock Villa. It was very clean with quality appliances, furniture and fixtures. Everything was convenient and well thought out in this unit which made for stress free vacation. It was just perfect for a retired couple and we loved that the second bedroom was a sitting room for us for extra TV viewing when we didn't want to watch the same programs! We have rented it for another 6 1/2 weeks for next year and really look forward to staying there agian."

  • Great Vacation With The Family!

"My wife, five kids, and both sets of parents spent our spring break in this wonderful home on Seabrook Island. There were 11 of us total and we had more than enough room and space for everyone. I grew up in the Charleston area so it was great to get back to the area after 20 years to see how things had changed, and how things stayed the same. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool, daily! Even though the pool was a bit chilly (it was March after-all), our kids still swam almost every day! We also really enjoyed the pool table/ping pong table and had many tournaments. We spent a couple of days touring Charleston and visiting my old neighborhood. We made it to the beach a couple of days and even managed to see the dolphins swimming and feeding (which was high on my wife's list of things to see on this trip). We ended up making most of our meals at the house so we didn't try much of the local eating establishments. Needless to say the kitchen was well stocked with all the items we needed to make three meals a day for 11 people. I did take some of the kids to go eat at Red's one evening and the food and atmosphere was great. Oh, and if you are in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area and in search of a great little seafood restaurant I'd highly recommend checking out the "The Wreck of Richard and Charlene"! My wife and I met up with an old childhood friend of mine and his wife. The food there was outstanding! The owner of the house, Cameron, was really great and very responsive when we contacted him. Our every need was met with this home and area. If we ever make it back to Seabrook Island again, we will be sure to stay here again and we highly recommend this home to anyone else looking for a home in this area."

Surrounded by natural splendor in the Lowcountry of South Carolina is the private oceanfront community of Seabrook Island. This destination is home to maritime forests, marshes and some of the longest, widest and most pristine beaches you can find in the region.

Seabrook Island is just minutes from the historic city of Charleston and immediately draws you in as you explore its grounds and see how it just may be a place lost in time.

Seabrook Island Attractions

During your visit to Seabrook Island, be sure to check out the island that once served as battlegrounds for the American Revolution and Civil War from a historic perspective. The island was used as a staging areas for Hessian and British troops during the Revolutionary years and, at the height of the Civil War, was sold to William Gregg. You can tour the island by renting a bike and cruising around town. You can check out Alligator Bike and Island Bike & Surf Shop for your bike rental needs.

Seabrook Island's wide, long beaches are perfect for playing in the sand or going for a swim. Pelican Beach is also known as Sunset Beach and is the perfect place for young children to swim. North Beach is the ideal spot for visitors who want to check out the sunrise. It's also home to one of the widest fronts on the Carolina Coast. There's also the Sands at the Beach Club. It's where all the action is and where everyone goes to play in the sand and get a great view of the surrounding areas.

Heading out for a day on the water is also a great idea for an adventure during your visit to Seabrook Island.
