"I was looking for a two bedroom, two bath condo on the second floor (so we didn't have to hear the people above us) close to the beach club for a family of four. This condo fits the bill exactly. We found the condo to be exactly as pictured and it was across the street from the pool. Overall, a very nice unit and the lady's at Coastal Getaways were very efficient and easy to work with. The reason for the four stars is be sure to buy toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags before you get there. We found a partial roll in each of the bathrooms, a partial paper towel roll in the kitchen, and one garbage bag (the one that was in the kitchen garbage can) and that is the extent of the supplies. Also, if you are planning to use the kitchen, it has very few items in it. Plan to use just the beach club - we went over the Lake House to check it out and got the stink eye from all of the "local members". No towels are provided at that pool - I guess to keep the non-members at the beach club."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 10, 2014View listing

"Our family of three and our fluffy friend spend a week in this beautiful home. My sister and friend from SC came for one night, and our youngest daughter and her husband came for three nights. The pictures posted do not do this lovely home justice. It was very clean and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative. In fact, we hope to be able to rent from Richard again next year. We loved the proximity to Charleston and ate at the Hominy Grill one night. It was absolutely delicious. We also ate at Reds at Bohicket and Stono Market & Tomato Shed (delicious tomato pie and squash casserole). The Freshmarket is so convenient and so is Rosebank Farm (great local shrimp). Thank you again Richard for allowing us to rent your lovely home. We all had a great week."Guest: Jean Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 8, 2014View listing
"We wanted a vacation that met the needs of a beach bum and a tourist, so something reasonably close to Charleston was the goal. This condo fit the bill. The unit was spotless and well maintained, and comfortable. We appreciated access to the beach toys (chairs, boogie boards, pails). Owners' signs and notes in the unit were helpful. Seabrook Island is a unique place, that's for sure. Not my style of beach, but we saw dolphins and the pelicans dive bombing for food were quite entertaining. The unit is near the beach club, with great pools, and game room (with free billiards and ping pong), a gift shop and restaurant. Nearness to Charleston was perfect--the harbor tour, carriage tours, and Patriots Point historic Navy ships were fantastic. We also enjoyed the Charleston Tea Plantation tour. There's plenty to do here and I'm sure travelers of any age can take advantage of things we didn't have the time to explore. One warning--be prepared for the closest grocery not to be open if you arrive after hours. Stock up on basic needs on the way to the island to get you through breakfast if you arrive late (we arrived after 8 pm on a Sunday evening and had to drive further back for those basics)."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 5, 2014View listing
