  • Nice vacation, good location

"Many pros to this rental: location near the entrance of the island was very nice. rental is across the street from the activity center (which has a child-friendly outdoor pool) - rental includes amenity card. washer-dryer in unit is very convenient. Wi-Fi and cable are a plus. Some cons: said to come with fully equipped kitchen, but there is no measuring cup (at least none that we found). no Tupperware for leftovers. no plastic cups or plates for little ones. dust bunnies found close to the walls behind the chairs in the livingroom. the thing is the chairs aren't heavy, so it would be easy move them aside to clean the floors well. the broom-dustpan set don't pick up dirt very well - very frustrating to try and clean with them. Although there were some nuisances, I would still recommend this unit and would consider staying here again. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay in this unit."

  • Very Relaxing

"We truly enjoyed our stay on Seabrook Island at Glenn's house. Looking over the 16th fairway of Ocean Winds golf course inspired us to play 3 rounds of golf while there. The jaunt to the beach was quick and easy and all the deer on the island reminded us that we were out of the city. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Charleston."

  • Exceptional beach house

"Beautifully and comfortably furnished, this lovely Seabrook vacation rental was the perfect spot for us. The views over the nature preserve to the ocean were spectacular. The house was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner was a delight to work with, offering great tips and information to us, as newcomers to Seabrook. The amenity cards were great- my husband played golf several times and we had dinner at the Bohicket Lounge at the Club which was excellent. The proximity to the beach couldn't be better. We wouldn't hesitate to return!"

  • Wedding at Seabrook? RENT THIS HOME NOW!

"If you want the ultimate experience for a wedding, this is the home for you. My younger brother was married on 5/9 at the clubhouse on Seabrook. I looked at basically every home on the island that could hold 6-8 people. I must have saved 30 different listings, but I always came back to this home. I spent 4-6 weeks researching, reading and looking at maps of the island. It is everything and more than what you read and see in the photos. I could have gotten a larger home, but NOTHING makes up for the location of this property... NOTHING! You wake up in the morning to the sound of the ocean and the sights of dolphins out the back door. The home is in MINT condition and the owners are willing to bend over backwards for you. They get it and love Seabrook as much as we do (My parents own a condo a few blocks away and we have been coming here for years). The location is ideal if you want to do a wedding at the clubhouse (Its across the street). The location is ideal if you want to walk to the beach, the pool, the golf course, the Pelican's Nest, the arcade, gift shop and so on. If you want to have a glass of wine, sit on a beautiful deck and watch dolphins this place is for you. If you have kids and want to walk a beach with them, find perfect sand dollars, hundreds of sea shells and basically have a beach all to yourself... this home is for you. My mother has a bad hip after a recent hip replacement. This home has an elevator that she was able to use to get up and down instead of using the stairs. Do you have several vehicles you need to bring? This home has a three car garage. The neighbors are also wonderful that live next door. They came over 2 different nights and had drinks with us. We had a small get together the night before the wedding after the rehearsal dinner. We brought in a local BBQ company to do pulled pork, ribs and brisket. Everyone absolutely loved the home, the view and access to the beach. The interior decoration is amazing (professional done). The only problem we had was not wanting to go home after only a week! Oh, I should mention the "no-see'em's" on the back deck (Small bugs that bite). That as easily fixed with a local lotion that you can find everywhere. It was weird though, because when the wind was out the bugs were not there. We had one night with very little wind and we were eaten alive. (This was not the home's fault though). If you plan to spend anytime on the deck, make sure you get the local bug lotion for No-See-Em's."
