"My husband and I booked the studio for a few days to celebrate our one-year anniversary. I loved the look of it from the pictures on HomeAway, and it did not disappoint! It is in the perfect location for exploring Charleston (neither of us had ever been before), and it was cool that it was above the art gallery. Danny, who managed the art gallery, was very friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. Everything is in walking distance, and there are endless restaurants and shops to try. Our favorite restaurants were Poogan's Porch (absolutely delicious classic/southern food) and Basil (Thai food). We also really enjoyed Jeni's, an ice cream place, and the farmer's market on Saturday morning, which had delicious food to offer. Downtown is beautiful and historic; Rainbow Row was one of the highlights for me. You can also venture out for more beachy activities, like paddleboarding (we did this in Isle of Palms, less than half an hour drive away), and the bikes provided at the studio are great. The air conditioning in the studio felt amazing every time we came back in from the heat! The few times we had questions about our stay, the contact that was provided answered us right away. We would absolutely recommend this studio and would love to come back in the future. It already feels like a little home away from home for us."
