"Let me start by saying this owner was a delight to rent from as he he made everything easy and straight forward. The property was beautiful inside and out. The river...what can I say, it was just so serene. This is a great getaway place if a person wants to relax and get some peace back in their soul. We stayed during Christmas so the fishing and boating wasn't a part of our experience."

"This place was prefect! Matt was so easy to work with. The loft is in a great location and was exactly like the pictures. Walking distance to king st, the market, waterfront, and the battery. It space was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It's above Justine's Kitchen and if you can make it down there before it gets crazy, it's amazing!!!"

"We were really able to relax at this house! No, it is not a fancy beach get-a-way, nor did we want one! Luckily, Amy, the owner, makes all of this clear in her house description, so we knew what to expect. The upstairs was bright, airy, charming, and clean. The downstairs was more of a basement atmosphere which could be used for sleeping, but it did have a slightly darker, more damp feel. Still it would be ok for sleeping. However, between the two small bedrooms and the large pull-out sofa we had plenty of room. We adored the charming 1930's feel of this place. Loved the screened in porch, grill area, and how close it is to the beach. It's a great Edisto cottage and it's a lot like Edisto itself--charming, relaxing, not pretentious. Highly recommend!"
