Great Dual Family Stay
"We were looking for a home in HHI with two master bedrooms and at least 2 additional bedrooms to accommodate two families vacationing together, and we could not be happier with our decision to rent this great home! The location is amazing, with beach access steps away and only a short trip to Coligny Plaza. The owners have done a great job renovating the home, and they have thought of everything - boogie boards and beach toys for the kids, bikes and beach chairs for the adults, and a heavy duty cart to get everything to and from the beach. The den downstairs (not pictured), complete with pull out sofa bed and X-Box 360, was a great place for our older boys to stay. Thank you Margaret! We could not have asked for a better home for our family vacation!"

"We stayed at this property in May with our young adult daughter and nephew. First I must say working with George and Pam is an absolute delight. If you need something you get it, if something needs fixed it is addressed immediately, there aren't enough words to tell you how accommodating they are. The home is very comfortable and very clean. The pool and hot tub are very large with great ocean views. We lived outside!! There is really very little to complain about, if I were to offer a suggestion the living room furniture is getting a bit tired and the swivel rockers really need replaced. The beds are comfortable, the linens are top notch, and the kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely return!!!!"

"Never been to Hilton Head? Much of the island is owned by large resort "plantations." North Forest Beach is a quiet, elegant community of mostly single family homes nestled among live oaks and palmettos and arranged in rows from the beach. 21 Jacana is in the third row which means you are on the spectacular beach in less than 100 steps. Or you can walk by a lagoon. Just head three blocks in the opposite direction. Want to shop but avoid the car driving and parking lots that plague you back home? Put a pack on your back and walk to shopping almost entirely on the beach. Never rented a house for a vacation? This one is your private resort. It is attractive and exactly as pictured with a wonderful floor plan, great privacy and a beautiful pool with a heating system that really works. Nervous about renting directly from an owner who lives in Ohio? We have been here for a month, made three calls about relatively minor issues, got through immediately and problems were addressed instantly. We've rented houses and apartments all over the world, all with on-site "managers," but never had attentive responses that equalled those by this owner. Added to that was very detailed and cordial help before we came. We've signed up for next year."

"Really nice location on a quiet street. Distance to the private north forest beach is a large plus, as is distance to Coligny plaza. The house is larger than it appears, with a very large and open common area. Bedrooms were also good size. Excellent backyard with spacious patio. Pool was well maintained, and the hot tub came with heat and jets. The house has all the kitchen items you need. Also, a stash of beach and pool equipment (chairs, sand toys, etc) was a nice plus."
