Everything we could have hoped for
"It's easy to believe that some of these reviews are far fetched when you read through them but as soon as you open the front door of this home you immediately believe the hype. Everything has truly been thought of and so well prepared that having a great time is almost a guaranteed side effect. The bikes were an unexpected highlight of our trip and a nice tip for those planning a trip is that you can actually take the bikes onto the surrounding golf courses before 7am or after 7pm for a very scenic, hilly, and adventurous ride. The walk to the beach is what I would call the perfect length. Far enough that you can stretch your legs but close enough that you don't mind it at all. The entire complex of Palmetto Dunes really has everything you could ever need but we were pleasantly surprised at the nearby amenities (stores, great restaurants etc.). It seemed that nothing was more than a 10 minute walk or drive from the house. We really can't wait to return to Hilton Head and certainly hope that this property is available when the time comes."

"What can I say more than what other reviewers have said? This is a beautiful spacious home, well maintained, and we enjoyed out stay here with our children and grandchildren, 9 adults plus 8 children ages 8 and under. (The place was clean enough to put a tummy crawler on the floor.) We used the pool and hot tub extensively. Pool was plenty warm in late July. It has a shallow shelf on each end so there is a place for little ones to play in the pool (carefully watched, of course). We did much of our own cooking, and followed the advice of another reviewer and brought our own griddle and containers for leftovers. There is a refrigerator in the basement in addition to the one in the kitchen, but the kitchen one held most of what we needed. I was also glad to have brought binoculars for bird watching, as recommended by another reviewer. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Many in our party walked, jogged, and rode bikes along the trails in the mornings. Owner Larry was great to work with. My only complaint would be that the bedroom with two queen beds had a separate AC unit and it was loud. AC in the rest of the house was great. I would certainly be delighted to stay here again."

"Our family really enjoyed our time in Hilton Head. The house was great, and as advertised centrally located to many amenities. The walk to the beach is quite manageable even with a load of beach gear. Thanks to the owner for providing a rolling cart for the big items.
We thoroughly enjoyed the deck, pool and spa which were constantly in use.
Renting bikes was a GREAT addition to our stay. My wife and I put in over 70 miles around the island, and our recent HS graduate son and his buddy were able to ride to Coligny plaza (10 mile round trip).
The all-you-can-eat crab legs at the Main Street Cafe and Pub were PHENOMENAL. I'm sure the people around us were amused at how much we enjoyed the meal.
If you're looking for some fun activity for a family look into the Zipline Adventure. Well worth the price!
We had several items that we contacted the owner about, and she was very responsive and attended to each right away.
I would highly recommend this property."

"This home was absolutely perfect for our family. Upon arrival, even after a busy summer season, we found the home very clean and ready for us to enjoy for the week! Since we spend the majority of our time outside, we loved the deck and pool area. We grilled out several times and enjoyed eating at the table on the deck, while watching the wildlife in the canal behind the pool. A Blue Heron joined us for a large part of our stay, who we fondly named Bernard. We rented bikes for the week and it is a short 3-5 minute bike ride to the nearest beach access, which was perfect for us. We were able to completely relax in this home and our only regret is that the week went by way too quickly! The photos accurately represent this fantastic beach home and we felt the outdoor area was even better than pictured!"
