"My family has been visiting Hilton Head for over 34 years and as we grew in size, we needed a 6 bedroom rental. We found 1 Sea Lane and couldn't be happier. The house is outstanding - great family room, kitchen, and dining table. The bedrooms were quite comfortable and incuded a "kid's room" equipped with bunk beds, TV, chairs, tables, etc. - when not at the beach or in the pool, the kids were enjoying this special room. The outside kitchen, bathroom/shower, and deck overlooking the pool, was perfect. In addition to the beautiful house, the location in Palmetto Dunes was awesome - the entrance to the beachwalk is basically across the street. We would highly recommend this house!"

"Great location . The golf course was like having a huge , landscaped yard. The pool was nice and refreshing. Some of the house decor was a little dated but everything worked fine, was very clean and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes but very pleasant walking through the sidestreets and across a neat bridge. Our dog had trouble walking that far so we often drove her and had great parking at an entrance near the Disney hotel about a 3 minute drive away. We had no problems or concerns during our stay so did not need to contact the owners but prior to arrival, the Boyd's were very easy to contact.
Palmetto dunes is a beautiful, walking and biking community where all the houses were built around the existing ancient moss covered oaks. The biking on the beach was especially fun."

"Our family has stayed in several places in Hilton Head, but this has to top all of them. Even friends that were staying in another home in another resort complex said that this home was much nicer than the one they were staying at. There was plenty of room, kitchen was well stocked and it was very clean. Other than the TV in one of the bedrooms was not working, that was the only problem that we encountered. The beds were very comfortable, which is usually not the case in most places. I personally loved the Master Bedroom. It was very spacious, along with the large Master bathroom.
Just loved the back deck. That was the reason we chose to stay at this home. It has a very large pool, which you don't get at most homes. However, we were only in it once due to the cool weather. The hot tub was a hit. Although it was not a large hot tub, my husband was in it every morning (very early) before his round of golf.
This home is in a prime location from the front gate and very easy to find. We did not get to the beach, but I heard it wasn't far. The owners were very easy to deal with and the price was fantastic for this beautiful home. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Hilton Head.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and we look forward to coming back next year."

"Location - Palmetto Dunes is a large community of private homes with security check before entering the community. There are bike trials everywhere in the community which makes for easy traveling around. There is large trees that provide shade when biking which is a great feature.
House - Was comfortable with new appliances and comfortable beds and clean house. There were some older bikes in the garage that we were allowed to use, which was a nice feature. Plenty of cooking pans, utensils for cooking anything. Large refrigerator and freezer. Propane grill was available, but not in great condition. Wireless internet was provided. Living room has a sleeper sofa too.
Communication - Always prompt communication with owner and pleasant experience overall.
Nearby Activities - Being a smaller community, everything is very close by. Kayaking was fun and saw some dolphins with Hilton Head Kayak. Sea Pines Community has some great bike trails and a fun park for the kids.
Beach - There is frequent Public Beach access paths all throughout the community, but will require a short walk from the property. There is limited parking near the beach for public, so we parked near the tennis courts and walked to the beach. Not very crowded and plenty of room.
Overall we were pleased with the house and was as expected from the description and our research. Plenty of room for our family and we felt at home. Would recommend to any family looking for a nice home in Hilton Head for vacation."
