"From the moment we entered, we felt right at home. The furnishings are of excellent quality and the kitchen is amazingly stocked. We loved having the balcony views and ocean sounds morning and night. Additionally, it is very generous of the owners to provide free hours of tennis and discounts to the resort bike & kayak rentals, which we very much enjoyed during our stay. They also allowed us to use other extras such as their boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and chairs. Other bonus luxuries include the covered parking with luggage carts and an elevator. Finally, our beach was pristine and private- one of the best we've seen. We feel very fortunate to have found this beautiful, little piece of heaven as our home away from home. We highly recommend this to all."

"Our family (parents + two boys aged 5.5 and 8) had a great time at Deb's home last week. The home is well furnished and cozy. While we stayed in the downstairs Master Bedroom which is super-comfortable, the kids had their own privacy and bathroom upstairs. The Master's Bath is great for showering off after the pool and bicycling and we really didn't even bother to drag any suitcases upstairs since my boys regularly showered or took baths downstairs.
The location of the house was nice - on a great, central part of the beach (but not on the beach) but to bicycle to Coligny we really had to get on the beach, otherwise we'd have to bike ALL THE WAY OUT of Palmetto Dunes resort which was too much for my little boys. The house is at the end of the street (Ocean Lane) but behind the beach resorts which means that there wasn't much traffic at all when my kids were practicing on their bikes. Supermarkets are very convenient.
The kitchen is great, well-stocked and in good condition - I didn't have any issues, but bring/ buy cellophane wrap so you can transform any of the bowls into food storage. We used the washer/ dryer a lot so that we could avoid having to bring so many changes of clothing, which worked out great. The pool is super-convenient - right outside the backdoor - and is pretty big and comfy for a lot of guests. We spent a lot of mornings and late afternoons in the pool since there are a lot of trees back there... and hence a lot of shade to avoid getting too sunburned. My kids favorite activities were: Pooltime! We bought pool noodles at the General store for $4 each, bicycling to the General Store for some ice cream (this was my little boy's favorite activity), and a little bit of beach time. We're not big beach people, but my boys loved jumping over the ankle height waves! I enjoyed bicycling on the beach, although Coligny Circle was way further than we thought it would be. Pedal's is great for renting bikes. Really easy to work with, and were very flexible when we wanted to switch one of the bikes to one with a hitch.
NOTES: we didn't realize that SeaPines is a private resort, and we had to pay $6 just to visit the area - which includes Harbour Town and South Beach. Unfortunately the Tuesday fireworks at Shelter Cove were cancelled because of a pending storm (which never came). We did the Dolphin Eco tour with Captain Gio who was great!
Totally recommend and looking forward to returning to this house!"

"We enjoyed the condo. Great views of the beach, dunes, and pool. Perfect layout for 5 people. Well maintained grounds/landscaping. The unit is due for a refresh. The baths are definitely 1980's design and showing their age. The Master bath jacuzzi does not work. That said, the positives outweigh the negatives and would rent the unit again."

"This condo met all our expectations. The owners were very The location is great - Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful resort with many options for accommodations. Wendover Dunes was a perfect fit for a family of 4 - plenty of space for us to spend time together or have some space to relax. The beach is a short walk, the pool is a shorter walk, and getting around HH Island is easy. The furnishings were good - a little warn but better than other condos we have stayed in. Kitchen was nice but freezer kept popping open and oven did not preheat with trying start it up several times. Screen porch was nice and big but it faces the woods so we didn't really use it. One suggestion - include more info about recommended vendors - restaurants, store locations, activities. We found all the information we needed on our own but it would have been nice to have recommendations from locals or previous guests. Overall this is a great place to stay if you aren't dead set on having an ocean view. We would stay here again if in Hilton Head for a week as a family."
