  • Two Thumbs Up

"We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Hilton Head. This lovely home was clean, spacious and well-appointed. The combined kitchen/family room layout was ideal for our family and it was nice to have plenty of counter space and seating options. We enjoyed all the amenities that this property afforded especially the bikes, community pool, quiet neighborhood and its close proximity to the bike trails that we used daily. Carol, the owner, was a joy to work with as she was very organized, fair, informative and promptly answered any questions that we had. We would wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional home to our friends and family and hope to vacation there again soon."

  • Great Vacation

"My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this vacation house this year. We were close to everything. The pool right around the corner, the beach a 7 minute bike ride away and restaurants and shops so close. The house is in a great family oriented neighborhood and we enjoyed riding our bikes everywhere. The house was very nice and the owner was great to deal with. My family and I will defninately rent this house again!"

  • Starfish Cottage Vacation

"Starfish Cottage is the perfect place to stay in Sea Pines . The house is beautiful, in fact , my 5 year old granddaughter looked around as she entered the house and said " this place is awesome " . She was right . The house was spotless , everything you could want was there . The rooms are comfortable and very nicely appointed , loved the shower in the master bath. When you enter the house you are drawn to the backyard--the entire wall is glass French doors displaying the beautiful pool and trees . We were instantly relaxed by the peace and quiet . The pool is wonderful , loved the spa especially at night under the stars . The lights at night in the pool are beautiful and the landscaping around the pool was lovely The location of Starfish Cottage is perfect , everything Sea Pines has to offer is a very short distance away. Our favorite spot was South Beach Marina , great dining spots and Salty Dog Happy Hour is just plain fun . The new Sea Pines Beach Club was fantastic , the café offered a great selection and the bar was fun as well . The beach was great The bike paths were perfect , saw lots of wading birds, alligators , deer . If you ride early in the am as we did , watch out for the deer . We got our bikes at Sea PInes Rentals but would not recommend them as the 1st pair we got had torn seats and were not very clean . Second set was better but I would not use them again. South Beach Marina has a great rental program and next time we will go there . I really cannot say enough about the Cottage, it was absolutely perfect . If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing home that has everything you could want on a vacation then look no further--Starfish Cottage is the place The owners are wonderful to work with and Maggie's artwork is bright , vibrant and fun. She is a talented artist and shares her work with her guests . We will be renting this home again for years to come"

  • Great family vacation spot

"We just returned from a week stay in this great spot. The house was a perfect fit for our family of six. It was warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped foot in the door. All amenities were great! The location was spot on too. Close to beaches, golf, Harbor Town, and biking trails. The owner was wonderful to work with. We would definitely rent here again."
