  • Family Beach Vacation

"We had a great time - perfect location for beach & pool. Both the Owner and the island contact were wonderful. The townhouse had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable from a grill to beach toys. Thanks for a great time."

  • great location

"The South Forest Beach area is our favorite part of the island to stay. Seascape Villas is in just the right spot. Close enough but not too close, if you know what I mean. Only a four or five minute walk from a fairly uncrowded section of beach. There is a small cabana for Seascape guests only, right on the beach with separate primitive but surprisingly clean restrooms to save the trip back to the condo - and an outdoor shower to knock the sand off. Coligny plaza shopping center is a 10 to 15 minute walk. But, the best way to get there or anywhere on the island is by bicycle. We generally park the cars upon arrival and only drive again if we intend to leave the island or plan to be farther away than Coligny after dark. The bicycle/pedestrian paths can get you everywhere safely away from traffic but are not lit well enough to use for cycling after dark. The villa is well equipped with most items to feel right at home. Kitchen, while slightly cramped, has everything you should need to prepare all your meals if you prefer not to go out. TVs in living room and each bedroom were adequate for down time and bad weather entertainment. The kids brought their game consoles and were easily able to hook up in the living room. But, most of our time indoors at night was spent around the ample dining room table playing various board and card games. There were eight of us altogether. Each of our three kids brought a friend. It was comfortable with eight but is more suitable for six, as the youngest and his friend had to suffer with sleeping on the pull out sofa and the lack of privacy afforded to others with separate bedrooms. And only one bathroom shared by the six was hard at times. On the other hand, my wife and I love the privacy of the master bed and bath on the top floor with it's own balcony, too. This privacy comes at the cost of an extra set of stairs, though. I believe I counted 33 stairs from the main entrance all the way to the top. Overall, we had a great family vacation in large part due to the accommodations which were clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. Thanks, Paul and Lori!"

  • Reasonably Priced, Spacious 3 Bedroom Condo near the Beach

"Should have sent this once I returned home, but better late than never. I rented this unit for the entire month of March 2010. Location: Across the street and a quick stroll along a path to the famous HHI beach. Directions and photo's were very accurate. Accomodations: Owner was very helpful right from the start. Also past along a phone number of the care takers if ever required. Package c/w keys were ready for pick up when we arrived. Finding the place was simple, especially since I have been to HHI previously. The 3 bedroom condo was exactly, maybe even better than I had hoped for. There is two pools, but not available for use in March, accept to sit around and sun bathe. Parking was plentiful and right outside the unit. The deck located out back has enough room for 4-6 people to sit on and a very nice gas barbeque. Out there in the courtyard is a pond with a fountain. The interior is very roomy for 4-6 people, possibly even more. Bedrooms are spacious and we enjoyed the upper bedroom layout. The appliances are fairly new, especially the washer/dryer as we know they were brand new. The kitchen is kind of small for the unit, but still had everything we required. Opportunities for Improvement; 1. Need to get a new vacuum cleaner. First off there was not one when we arrived. the one that was delivered by the caretakers, was poor at best as it must have been 25 years old. 2. The entire place, accept for the bathrooms and kitchen were carpetted. Shag carpet and very hard to keep clean, hence the need for a vacuum. Actually the carpet needs to be replaced in the living/dining room. 3. The cleaning staff didn't do a great job with the outside (the deck, the balcony and sliding glass doors needing to be cleaned). ALL in ALL, I still found it to be a very nice unit and the location was very good. You can ride your bike and walk to anywhere you need to go. Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, bars/taverns were less than 1/2 mile away on Pope Ave near and at Coligny Circle. The beach was a short walk across the street and down the path/boardwalk. Favourite Restaurant is Flora's Italian Cafe - 841 William Hilton Pkwy. Within about a 1/2 mile, we found a public tennis court (4) (Woodhaven & Cordillo) which we used every day. If you love to golf (we sure do) there is no limit to the amount of courses in the area. Still, nothing is better than either a bike ride or stroll on the beach to get you feeling very relaxed. Thanks again"

  • We loved it!

"It was perfect for my husband and I. There is a pool at the condo, the beach is in walking distance and just a bike ride or drive away from Coligny Plaza where we ate the whole trip. I will definitely stay here again!"
