"My wife and I have stayed at this rental many times in the last 5 years. We have been here in spring, summer, fall, and for extended periods in the winter months. We keep coming back because it's comfortable, has everything we need, and is in a great location. Our dog and 4 grandkids love exploring this 6 acre point. There are not many rentals with this much outdoor space. Owners Rick and Randi are always very helpful to their guests and have become valued friends to us. Rick showed me how to catch stripers on our first visit. I still learn something new every year, but do pretty good on my own now. When we leave for home we are already planning our next visit."

"We stayed at Ellen and Andy's lake house for a few days, thinking that I needed a few days to decompress before starting a new job. And it was the most "relaxing" time I've ever had in a span of five days! The photos looked amazing online, but it's much better in person. The house was clean and well-kept, and equipped with everything you could ever need (for cooking, barbecuing, and kayaking). Just come with your clothes, food, drinks and great company!
The view is amazing...and sitting on the deck (at the house and at the pier) was like watching a National Geographic show unfold LIVE before your eyes! Since it is on a peninsula, it felt like you were on your own little island! We really appreciated this being from Hawaii.
The owners responded to any questions we had almost instantly about minor issues (TV cable, etc.).
We will be planning on another visit soon, and highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone."

"My husband and I came to South Carolina for our sons basic training graduation. We rented this wonderful home on the lake for 10 days :) Such a wonderful and peaceful getaway. It was close to town and shopping but yet private and quiet. The lake is gorgeous and we loved the nature. We would highly recommend this charming home for anyone looking for a safe relaxing atmosphere. :)) The owner was a delight to deal with as well. :) Say hi to the bunnies and turtles for us."

"With 5 grandkids, two of their friends, and 5 adults, we all managed with a little help from a few air mattresses. The house is located near the point of one of the many fingers leading into Lake Murray. From the swimming pool, to the dock for fishing, to the 24 ft Sea Ray that the kids were on three times a day every day, there was never enough time in the day to take a breather.
Everything you could need for food preparation was there. The Jenn Air grill was used several nites to feed the hungry troops.
The Theater Room with a popcorn machine was the best for the kids in the evenings after dark.
The swimming pool was big and clean and kids had a blast when they were not on the lake.
The two gals who helped with the operation of the house and boat were the best. If we had a question or problem, they responded immediately.
We would definitely recommend this for any family gathering and will look forward to returning.
