"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything you could possibly need was provided. It is a very clean, large, beautifully decorated, luxury home situated on a point overlooking Lake Thurmond with a covered, double slip boat dock. You feel a million miles away from everything, yet golf, groceries and dining are only minutes away. Relaxation is the order of the day. Tom was very helpful, politely answering every question we had. We wouldn't hesitate to come back."

"We stayed here for a week (early April 2015) while attending the Masters. It was a little more driving (to/from Augusta) than I cared for, but it was a great value. Everything was as advertised and pictured in the ad, and the owner was very accommodating and great about following through on our various requests. Not luxurious, but the house was very clean and orderly and provided everything we needed. Beautiful piney woods with three 18 hole golf courses nearby: the Monticello (in Savannah Lakes Village) was quite nice; the Tara (also in SLV) was in rough shape; and the course at Hickory Knob State Park was in really poor shape. It is, however, in a fairly remote, rural area with limited choices for shopping, restaurants, etc. All in all, however, I was quite pleased with the rental."

"This cabin is the best way to unwind from a busy schedule. The cabin has it all; a rustic setting, amazing water views and a pontoon boat at your disposal. The best part is the low boat traffic on the lake; it felt at times that we were the only boat on the water. Even our dog made sure he had a good time; either sitting on the large wrap-around deck or swimming in the lake. Be sure to have time to venture out of town (we visited a local distillery) since everyone is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"Just had our second vacation at A Point of View - this time for Memorial Day Weekend! And like last time, it was an amazing escape & a wonderful time. This trip we had a new addition in tow - our baby boy - and we could not have asked for a better getaway as a family. The views and water were beautiful as ever, the house has every single thing we could need - including a crib! - and our little boy had a wonderful time playing in the water with us…along with our furbaby. We live at the beach & love absolutely everything about the fresh water. We are so happy to have found this gem of a place and will definitely be back - again!"
