"The Southern Belle is a very beautiful and comfortable home. We have really been enjoying our stay. There is only one thing that I would recommend. That is to update your information on the web and your welcome letter. You can no longer order the Lasagna from Bella
Luna's on your way in because they are closed on Sundays. I tried. The Surrey is broken and can not be
used. They no longer leave wine, coffee, and pancake
mix. You also don't need cone filters for the coffee pot. I bought the cone filters to bring. Now I have cone filters that I don't need. Please update your web and welcome
letter information. It is a little misleading for people."

"We have been coming to Fripp Island since 1973. We have stayed in alot of homes on this island. This is the perfect fit for our family. We can all be together in the same room and not feel crowded. The bedrooms are perfect. We take turns on which bedrooms we get. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed. It is in the great room so the cook for the night is not secluded while preparing the meal. The beach is within walking or carting distance. The location is right in the middle of all activities. Mr. Tom the owner was extremely accommodating. We will be back for sure."

"We just returned from an amazing week at Fripp Island. We had such a great time, I felt obligated to write a review. First I wanted to mention that this was my first experience renting a home from the VRBO website. I have been warned of many scams that exist, but book with confidence, This house is legit!
We planned our trip with my brother and his family, so there were four adults and four children in our party. The house was perfect for two families and we even had an extra room that we didn't use during our stay. The upstairs loft included two double beds, a single bed and a small couch along with it's own private bathroom. This ended up being the perfect spot for the four children to share. They felt like they had their own space to play away from the adults. Downstairs there were three bedrooms. The master bedroom ha a king size bed and had its' own private bath. The second bedroom had a queen (or a double) and the third bedroom had two twins. All bedrooms had a nice size closet, and were furnished nicely to make you feel at home.
This kitchen area was small but very efficient. We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked the kitchen was in regards to cooking utensils, pots & pans, and serving dishes. As an added bonus there was a mini-fridge near the kitchen table which was perfect for keeping bottled water and other beverages.
The best part of the house was the location. The house was situated in the center of the island on the main road, within walking distance to the main club house, Olympic size pool and tennis courts. And don't let the pictures fool you, the backyard faces direct beach access so it is almost like being beach front.
Fripp Island is very unique. The deer are abundant and we had deer walk through the backyard on a daily basis. The beach itself is very large during low tide, and we had a great time playing Bocce Ball and building sand castles. The pools are amazing! The resort has five pools to choose from, and we spent most of our time at the Olympic pool due to the location to the house, but the pools located on the south side of the island are great for a day with little children.
The only downside to our entire vacation was the islands' distance from Beaufort (the closest grocery store) so before you go, plan ahead, make a list and stop on your way to the island. I would highly recommend this house! Thank you for offering such an affordable place to stay."

"Beautiful, large home! We enjoyed our long weekend at this property. We cooked every night and the kitchen and dining room were so spacious, the whole group could to hang out, cook, and eat together. The back deck has a tranquil view of the golf course and marsh with a beautiful sunset every night. The golf cart made it easy and fun to get around the island. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time!"
