  • Great Family Vacation

"We just returned from an amazing week at Fripp Island. We had such a great time, I felt obligated to write a review. First I wanted to mention that this was my first experience renting a home from the VRBO website. I have been warned of many scams that exist, but book with confidence, This house is legit! We planned our trip with my brother and his family, so there were four adults and four children in our party. The house was perfect for two families and we even had an extra room that we didn't use during our stay. The upstairs loft included two double beds, a single bed and a small couch along with it's own private bathroom. This ended up being the perfect spot for the four children to share. They felt like they had their own space to play away from the adults. Downstairs there were three bedrooms. The master bedroom ha a king size bed and had its' own private bath. The second bedroom had a queen (or a double) and the third bedroom had two twins. All bedrooms had a nice size closet, and were furnished nicely to make you feel at home. This kitchen area was small but very efficient. We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked the kitchen was in regards to cooking utensils, pots & pans, and serving dishes. As an added bonus there was a mini-fridge near the kitchen table which was perfect for keeping bottled water and other beverages. The best part of the house was the location. The house was situated in the center of the island on the main road, within walking distance to the main club house, Olympic size pool and tennis courts. And don't let the pictures fool you, the backyard faces direct beach access so it is almost like being beach front. Fripp Island is very unique. The deer are abundant and we had deer walk through the backyard on a daily basis. The beach itself is very large during low tide, and we had a great time playing Bocce Ball and building sand castles. The pools are amazing! The resort has five pools to choose from, and we spent most of our time at the Olympic pool due to the location to the house, but the pools located on the south side of the island are great for a day with little children. The only downside to our entire vacation was the islands' distance from Beaufort (the closest grocery store) so before you go, plan ahead, make a list and stop on your way to the island. I would highly recommend this house! Thank you for offering such an affordable place to stay."

  • Fripp first timers

"The house was great for our family of 8 adults! We enjoyed all the space, and the golf cart. We were also happy with our short walk to the beach! Our only issue was we couldn't lock some of the outside doors, but still felt safe."

  • Wonderful Multi-Family House

"Our family has been going to Fripp for 6 years, we've stayed at several houses but none have ever compared to this home. We stayed there with 6 adult couples and a 2 year old. There was ample space to spread out, and we even had an extra bedroom. The amenities - 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers, etc. made this a fantastic place to stay for a large crowd. The property is in excellent condition and just a few houses from the beach. We loved staying here and will make this house our go-to house year after year for family vacations. :)"

  • Great get away

"Oh my goodness what a house !!! Everything here you would ever need . Kitchen so well stocked with cookware . Golf carts the way to travel on this island . Take the time to venture out and see all the homes and drive around the beaches. Also make sure you take a cocktail and watch the beautiful sunset and hope its high tide to see the dolphins playing in the water. Thanks so much for your beautiful home !!!!!"
