"We stayed 4 days between Christmas and the New Year. The condo is perfect for two; may be a bit crowded with more as the sofabed is in the living room/kitchen area. The sofa is comfortable for sitting and there is one armless straightback chair to sit in, so again, two fit best unless the others are children. Furnishings are tasteful, though worn; the mattress was on the soft side, which suited my husband. The bathroom is large and has a huge shower. For use in the winter, the condo had good heating.
We used the kitchen, which had just enough equipment to make simple quick meals; the knives need to be sharpened or replaced. Did our shopping at the Publix about 20 minutes away, between Beaufort and Fripp Island.
The location was amazing: right on the water so within a few minutes, during low tide, you can be on the beach (at high tide, you have to walk around the golf course for access). Even in the colder weather, the beach is wonderful and the area is rich in natural beauty. The resort has many extra amenities (marina, golf, tennis, restaurants, etc.) but we did not use them, so cannot comment on them. Fripp Island resort employees were very pleasant and helpful in any interaction. It was amazingly peaceful and great for walking.
The owner was very responsive and helpful in making the arrangements and sending information. We would return to this lodging.
If you like photography, we recommend Eric Hogan Wildlife Photography tours, in Beaufort. Savannah and Charleston are easy day trips. We ate at Foolish Frog on St. Helena and at Magnolia Bakery/Cafe in Beaufort and enjoyed both meals."

"Just returned from a fantastic vacation at Fripp Island. Absolutely beautiful! TONS of deer, raccoon and even ran into a rattlesnake! Lisa was a great person to rent from, very informative and helpful from activities, restaurants, the island, everything. Condo was spotless and fully equipped, including beach chairs and beach towels. Golf carts and bikes were so much fun & a must. After we found a good beach access (Flying Fish and Whiting Road were our favorites) it was a little easier. We HIGHLY recommend Dockside Restaurant on Lady's Island. We had delicious fried doughnuts at Marsh Tacky's Market (don't let the outside scare you away). Had lunch at Ocean Point Grill, and ice cream almost every night. Excellent activities for all aged children. We will definitely return to Fripp Island - hopefully very soon!"

"Love vacationing on Fripp. This is the first time we stayed in Nancy's beach house. It is beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location on the island. She provides so much for her guests and is quick to respond to questions that may pop up. The kids loved being able to walk to the pool and beach, but also ride around the island on the bikes and golf cart that were provided. Can't wait to go back next summer."

"We have stayed in this picturesque beach house several times and each time I feel completely at home. The owners of the property have made many recent upgrades and just installed a brand new deck and new carpeting upstairs. There is nothing better than sitting out on the covered deck to observe the wildlife in the area. The house is located right on the beach and nothing obstructs your view of the ocean. The house is perfect for family get-togethers or for a couple wanting time to themselves. The layout of the house allows everyone to have their own space, with lots of areas to seclude yourself. The main living area and kitchen are very open and you feel a part of whatever is going on. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a way to relax and enjoy the beach. You will feel comfortable the minute you arrive and you will find it very difficult to pry yourself away from the beach house to go home."
