"Bella Vista is amazing. With my wife and 3 year old in tow and another couple with their teenager... the home was a perfect fit. Plenty of room, plenty to do on the island and the surrounding area, and plenty of sunshine! The pool right of the back of the house is great and not near as busy as we thought it might be. The beach was great as well. But the house was better than expected. We would happily stay here again. Thanks for sharing Bella Vista with us, and giving us the opportunity to create some beautiful memories."Guest: Scott M. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
"We just returned from an amazing week at Fripp Island. We had such a great time, I felt obligated to write a review. First I wanted to mention that this was my first experience renting a home from the VRBO website. I have been warned of many scams that exist, but book with confidence, This house is legit! We planned our trip with my brother and his family, so there were four adults and four children in our party. The house was perfect for two families and we even had an extra room that we didn't use during our stay. The upstairs loft included two double beds, a single bed and a small couch along with it's own private bathroom. This ended up being the perfect spot for the four children to share. They felt like they had their own space to play away from the adults. Downstairs there were three bedrooms. The master bedroom ha a king size bed and had its' own private bath. The second bedroom had a queen (or a double) and the third bedroom had two twins. All bedrooms had a nice size closet, and were furnished nicely to make you feel at home. This kitchen area was small but very efficient. We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked the kitchen was in regards to cooking utensils, pots & pans, and serving dishes. As an added bonus there was a mini-fridge near the kitchen table which was perfect for keeping bottled water and other beverages. The best part of the house was the location. The house was situated in the center of the island on the main road, within walking distance to the main club house, Olympic size pool and tennis courts. And don't let the pictures fool you, the backyard faces direct beach access so it is almost like being beach front. Fripp Island is very unique. The deer are abundant and we had deer walk through the backyard on a daily basis. The beach itself is very large during low tide, and we had a great time playing Bocce Ball and building sand castles. The pools are amazing! The resort has five pools to choose from, and we spent most of our time at the Olympic pool due to the location to the house, but the pools located on the south side of the island are great for a day with little children. The only downside to our entire vacation was the islands' distance from Beaufort (the closest grocery store) so before you go, plan ahead, make a list and stop on your way to the island. I would highly recommend this house! Thank you for offering such an affordable place to stay."Guest: NATALIE M. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
"Wow! This is the only word to describe my family's stay at this beautifully decorated little slice of Heaven. The house offered a gorgeous ocean view off of the family room and each bedroom has it's own deck with views. There's a pier conveniently located across the street that is ideal for dolphin watching, fishing or just catching some rays! Fripp Island area is the perfect place for seeing wildlife (the gators and deer were fascinating) and the beach was the most private beach I've ever been to! Our family visited St. Helena Island and Beaufort. The shops were upscale but not overpriced and the locals were friendly and quick with an island story. Also for movie buffs like me, the area seems like a favorite of film studios to film various popular movies on location. Overall, my family and I had a relaxing and yet entertaining vacation. We can't wait to do it again! Thanks Donna!"Guest: A. Monte Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 4, 2014View listing
