"This property was more than what is written. The owner is an absolute joy; informative, responsive, great housekeeping, and the condo is beyond affordable. I happened on this unit in a last-minute dash for a beach vacation and was initially wary of the ease and location. But it was not warranted. The space is clean, kitchen items provided, short trip to Savannah for a day trip, and the beach is a 2 minute walk which is spent mostly in the hallway to the stairs. I highly recommend this unit to anyone seeking to truly relax on a quiet beach. And to the owner, thank you very much for your hospitality!"Guest: J. "Our family stayed at your villa the week of 6/20 - 6/28 and had an absolutely wonderful time! The villa was everything we expected and MORE! Ready to book for next year. Waking to deer at your bedroom door to ending the day on patio listening to ocean...can't be beat!"Guest: jack h. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 7, 2014View listing

Enjoy space like you would have in you home in the Fripp Island beach rentals where you can sleep in, leisurely eat breakfast, take an afternoon snooze, and sit on your deck sipping your favorite drink while watching the sun set.
A Discovery Channel Real-Life Adventure
Experience a wide variety of animal life just mere steps away from the Fripp Island resorts. With 175 species of birds, Fripp Island is an Audubon designated bird preserve. You can see unusual birds such as American Oystercatchers, Boat-tailed Grackles, Black Skimmers, and Hooded Mergansers. Or, spot common birds such as pelicans, screech owls, red-bellied woodpeckers, and herons. Other fauna include loggerhead turtles, diamondback terrains, white tail deer, Gulf Fritillany, blue crabs, a possible alligator, and porpoises swimming off the coast.
Walk Where Actors Walked
Crews filmed several movies on Fripp Island -- Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides, and The Jungle Book. Imagine, when you stay in the Fripp Island resorts, you could be walking in the footsteps of famous actors and actresses such as Tom Hanks, Sally Fields, Gary Sinise, Nick Nolte, Blythe Danner, Barbara Streisand, Lena Headey, or Jason Scott Lee. During your stay at Fripp Island vacation rentals, consider watching one of these movies to see if you can recognize glimpses of the island that you are now familiar with because of your stay on the island.
