"The screened in porch was amazing with a view of the bay and ocean. If you have young kids, the water is extremely calm and safe. You need to go to the state park for waves of any size. The house does have WI-FI (my teens survived)!!! It's a 20 minute drive to Beaufort, stop there on the way in and pickup all your supplies (Publix has everything). House was a great size for my group(4 adults/2 teens) with enough beds for all. Panini's in Beaufort has excellent food. The owners are extremely responsive if you need anything or have any questions. Savannah and Charleston are just far enough away(1.2 hrs), so if you go, have a plan and make it a day trip."

"This was an ideal base for a laid-back beach experience. The accommodations are well managed and all the details of reservations, check-in, check-out were so easy. The condo is well maintained, very clean, and comfortable. Super close to beach and pool with a great view. Harbor Island is a good choice for long beach walks, birding, marsh adventures, and beautiful low-country drives. It isn't overdeveloped, which makes it a great place to unwind and recharge."

"We had an outstanding time at Mickeys Alley - My two teenage boys disconnected from their phones and computers to spend time at the beach, sport courts, and evening board games. I enjoyed cooking every evening in the extremely well appointed kitchen. Am coffee on the front porch and evening walks on the beach were just what I was looking for in a relaxing family vacation. The location is close enough to explore great city of Beaufort or the state park right down the street. The pier just before Frip has fishing gear that they will lend out with park admissions. We really enjoyed ourselves in the low country of South Carolina and at this perfect home."

"The house is a terrific place for a family vacation. Our family of four (plus two pups) had a wonderful time. This was our second year here and we are already looking forward to next year. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare just about anything you can think of. We had plenty of space to spread out and were able to sit together comfortably in the living room to watch movies, etc... The view from the house is simply beautiful. There is a view of the marsh and the ocean....it couldn't get any better. We saw a deer crossing the marsh early one morning...painted buntings...just beautiful! Having the golf cart was a major plus....it made beach going so easy and was great for cruising around the island in the evenings enjoying the wildlife."
