"OK, our anniversary (again), but second time in Villa By The Sea. This villa is just cozy and comfy. Walks on the beach in September always a memory."

"My husband and 3 yo daughter stayed in this wonderful house for a week. This was our first visit to Harbor Island. This is the place to come if you want a laid back, relaxed and non crowded beach. We loved having the golf cart and the provided beach chairs and toys! The house was plenty roomy for the 3 of us. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the screened in back porch. The late evenings we spent on the upstairs deck. There are two sets of stairs in the house without gates if you have curious little ones. Thankfully my daughter never tried to go down by herself. We were a tad nervous with her sleeping upstairs but it never was an issue but for some it may be. A gate would be a nice addition for those that may need it. This beach is perfect for little ones as there are no big waves. We also visited the pool. There is a small kiddie pool as well. We especially loved having the pass to hunting island park. We went there most days and walked the trails. Def do the marsh Boardwalk trail and the nature trail from the nature center. My daughter loved the nature center where they had snakes, turtles, crabs and fish. We went to beaufort one morning and enjoyed the shops and lunch at panini's. Also had dinner one night at Dockside which was very good! We ate almost all our meals at the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would ever need! Make sure you stop at grocery store on your way in. Everything in the house is labeled from the shelves in the kitchen cabinets to the light switches. Lots of extra touches! My husband enjoyed the cd collection in the basement and the books in the reading loft. For older kids there are a bunch of board games in the game room. Also there is a fuse ball table but we couldn't find the ball. Owners are also quick to respond via email. We couldn't of asked for a better vacation! Thanks again!"

"We had a great mini vacation at this condo. From the moment my mama, 2 teenage girls and I drove into the area we felt safe and peaceful. We were greeted at the guard shack by the nicest guard who gave us the parking pass and some other info. The unloading, parking and key retrieval was very smooth. The condo was very neat and clean and was everything described in the ad. We were beyond impressed with a quick response from housekeeping delivering a new full set of silverware after I contacted Mrs. Kathy about missing forks that weren't actually missing ( 2 drawers of silverware and they were in the other drawer but my mama didn't realize this). We enjoyed the pool right outside the condo as well as the beach. We didn't hear any loud noise or ruckus like we have at so many other beaches. It's wonderful when 4 females go on a vacation and feel safe like we did staying here. It is very close to Hunting Beach Island where the girls enjoyed the lighthouse and beach. Thank you Mrs. Kathy for letting us make so many wonderful memories at your little piece of Heaven."

"We were thrilled with our visit to Harbor Island. From check-in to check-out, everything was a pleasure. This condo is charming, homey, and spacious, with a very comfortable king suite. We were quite thrilled with the accommodations. We cooked a lot and found the kitchen to be perfectly appointed with everything we needed. The back deck, facing the ocean, was right in the middle of the condo with a lovely view of the Atlantic. We spotted five dolphins, very close to the shore, during a morning walk down the beach. The beach was never crowded, but the people were charming and friendly. Plenty of wide shore for Bocce Ball (provided with the condo). Gay Fish Market was only a mile or so away, several souvenir shops and another fresh market were less than a quarter mile away; supermarket shopping was about 20 minutes from the condo; and there were numerous fine dining establishments scattered in between. We spent a couple of days in Savannah/Tybee Island, as well, just over an hour from the island. We were very impressed with the laid back, relaxing atmosphere. The pass to Hunting Island was certainly a plus. Our visit to the lighthouse was exciting and the views were a delight. The beach on Hunting Island was extreme fun for us as well as our two teenagers. Lots of big waves and heavy currents! The beach at the condo had very calm waters. Overall, the condo was extremely relaxing; perfectly cool HVAC; the swimming pool was very nice (just around the corner from the deck or the front entrance to the condo); the condo had clean/hot water; and all of the amenities were in working order. Our wholehearted thanks to Barbara for a much needed, relaxing vacation in the low country of South Carolina."
