  • Amazingly Relaxing!

"We recently stayed at Mr. Ard's very well appointed home in experience you each need to have! As you walk down these streets or explore this village-concept area you are taken back 100 years with the architecture all in continuity of the 1920's. Sitting in the rocking chairs looking out over the park and Spainish moss hanging from the live oaks it is really a time warp! The people here are living lives we left many years ago for careers and life in the city. Wonderful to return! AMAZING!!"

  • Perfection in the Lowcountry

"I rented this cottage for a 3-month sabbatical in the fall of 2014 . . . and it was one of the greatest gifts I've ever given myself. The venue is unbeatable: only 1-1/2 blocks to the glorious Beaufort River where I often saw dolphins playing; and a 15-minute walk to funky, fun, artsy, cullinary-mega (who knew?!) downtown Beaufort. It was absolute heaven to move from the front porch when the sun was coming up to the side veranda as the day wore on. The yard is large with a lovely landscape of Lowcountry flora and trees -- and songbirds were plentiful. The owner is simply delightful and she dedicated herself to ensuring that I (and my two dogs) had the perfect sabbatical experience. This home is a true gem."

  • Wonderful location - Great Views

"The house was fantastic. We came down from Virginia for my sons graduation from Marine Corps basic training and the house was perfect for friends and family to gather and reconnect. It was a 20 min drive to MCRD, very easy, it took longer to get the thru main gate than it did to get there. The Large well stocked kitchen made cooking "real" meals a breeze. The living room area was where everyone spent most of the time, just sitting and talking, and looking out the windows at the terrific views. Unfortunately the weather was very cold the week we were there, 19 degrees one night with 40 mph winds - BRRRRR, but that didnt affect our stay one bit. Several of us did use the golf cart on one of the warmer afternoons to do a little exploring at the complex beaches. I would love to come back here when the weather is just a little warmer and spend some quality down time. Thanks so much for a great place to stay."

  • Couldn't have been more perfect!

"It was our first stay at Fripp for my husband and myself along with my parents...we enjoyed the house so much! Loved having everything there. We also got a lot of use out of the golf cart. My husband and I even talked about coming back in March sometime to catch a break from our TN winters. We will all definitely be back next year!"
