  • We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

"This summer was our 9th year staying in this unit. We had tried two other units at CJFV before this and after staying here would truly not stay anywhere else at Fripp. The condo has the perfect set up for access to the beach, the CJFV pool, the bike path, and the island workout facility. The condo is kept clean and in good repair and has had upgrades to the bathrooms and decor during the last couple years making it even nicer than when we first began staying here."

  • Very Very Nice Condo in a Very Very Nice Setting

"High quality decorating, clearly updated with quality in mind, very comfortable, very clean, very convenient to the entire area. You'll walk in and you'll smile, you'll feel welcome and appreciative. I'm guessing most first-time-renters will plan many future vacation stays in this unit!!"

  • Wonderful Week!

"We got to spend a week in this beach house in July of 2014, and it was a delight! The house was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. By far, our favorite room was the screened-in porch as we spent most of our time in the house there. I would happily recommend this house to VRBO users!"

  • This One is a Diamond...

"This is the second time our family of four has rented this cottage. It is a fantastic property in a beautiful setting, and located centrally between Savannah, Charleston and Hilton Head for those who can pry themselves away from this cottage to see the sights and some history. The cottage is small. But the master bedroom is a good size and the 4 bunks in the bunkroom have lots of room. The beds are comfortable and have quality bedding. The master bath is beautifully designed and outfitted, with separate tub and shower and double sinks, and the second bathroom is nicely outfitted as well, including a washer and dryer. The kitchen/living area is well laid out and is outfitted with top quality everything, from appliances to the TV with cable, Netflix, YouTube, etc. There is no shortage of entertainment. BUT......You are not going to be in the cottage much of the time, I would predict. The best feature of the property is its beautiful location. You pass the trees draped in Spanish Moss on the way down the long pier to the covered pavillion over the dock. Sit out and watch the river as the tides change. Listen for and then spot the dolphins that are almost always in sight, and often swim within a few feet of the dock. Yes, I know that you read that kind of stuff in lots of ads about rentals. I have no reason to exaggerate. We saw dolphins many times a day every day for a couple of weeks. You can fish from the dock and catch rays, small sharks, redfish and sea trout. With a cast net, in a few throws you can feed the family with the fresh shrimp you can easily catch from the dock. Blue crab as well, for those patient enough to pick out the meat. If you have a boat, a ramp is located fairly close and the boating in the area is fantastic with lots of places to explore in rivers and estuaries that are usually flat calm. The dock is in good condition to securely tie up to. Water plenty deep at low tide. The owner is a very friendly guy who will make sure that you will enjoy your stay. And if you go in the blazing 95-100 degree heat of August, as we did, you will really appreciate how cold the air conditioning is in the cottage. This one is a diamond."
