"My 7 year old granddaughters are in love with this place so we are sure to be back soon. Even though weather prevented them from riding today, they had so much fun just petting the lovely horses and learning about them. The house is charming with plenty of room for all. Everyone at Camelot Farms was so nice and accomodating and the horses are beautiful and very well cared for. We had a peaceful low-tech weekend in the country and can't wait to do it again!"

"they were a few things that weren't up to par for us....overall a great place and we will return....we had trouble with the internet but pm was great about getting that fixed, the upstairs twin br bath didn't drain had to hold down the tub drain release to get the water to go out, the cleaning crew was still there @ 4pm when we arrived. Otherwise it was a great place and will definitely stay again. The only major problem was my son has poor mobility and had a difficult time maneuvering the steps with it being on the 2nd level. He did it but it was difficult. Thanks for a great vaca! We love Harbor Island!"

"This house was just perfect for our "girls weekend"! My three sisters and I, along with our 88 year old mother, celebrated my youngest sister's 50th birthday. We all live in different states and this was an opportunity to spend quality time together. The house had all the comforts of home. I was especially pleased with how comfortable all the beds were. During the day we visited Hunting Beach and historical Beaufort, and then returned to the pleasantly serene house where we played games and watched movies. The roomy deck provided a nice setting for a leisurely breakfast in the morning and a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the beautiful stars at night. Helene was super helpful in suggesting places of interest to visit and she made sure we were very comfortable in her home. We all agreed that it was a great place to stay!"

"This was our third stay at this property. It is a beautifully decorated, elegant, spacious, and well equipped home. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped (and is larger than my current kitchen in Atlanta) and is adjacent to a large dining area. We generally had breakfast and lunch in the house, then went out for dinner to great places like Fat Patties burger joint. The owners stock a number of great movies and there are also lots of great books to cuddle up with. There is free Wi-Fi. The house is beautifully decorated with lively artwork. There is a nice gas grill on the adjacent courtyard, which is a great place for a cookout. The Cypress Wetlands Nature Trail (a raised boardwalk), is located a only few blocks from the property, and is a great place for wildlife viewing. We enjoyed biking around Port Royal and down to the Boardwalk by the ocean. We visited Beaufort, adjacent to Port Royale, where we took a carriage tour and wondered in the historic cemetery. Beaufort has lots of galleries, a marina, and great jewelry stores. You can use the state park pass that comes with the property to visit Hunting Island State Park. There, you can tour the lighthouse, ride your bike on the beach, go kayaking, or take a dip in the ocean. We have taken daytrips to Savannah (1 hour away) and to Charleston (1.5 hours away) and to the plantations by the Ashley River. The most difficult thing is to fit all the planned activities into your stay. The House is a great place for people who want to get away from the big city and the stresses of work. It is a great place for couples, but our children have also enjoyed themselves tremendously. We are looking forward to our next stay here."
