"Where do we even start? The cabin amazing. Pics do it no justice... so beautiful, comfortable and simple. All the amenitys you need...peaceful quiet sounds of nature watching the river go by. My favorite spot was the deck first thing in the am drinking cofee...then we would spend our days in the river lounging and enjoying the wildlife. We did so much and enjoyed every second of it.. it was more than i had ever imagined....thank you to Wesley for helping us make it happen and to Carolina heritage outfitters for their canoes and good old fashioned hospitality. ... I could write all day but you have to book a trip to see for yourself. I promise we will be booking our next trip soon..Our family has found our vacation spot..for hopefully years to come... Disney is for wimps. :)"

"This home is exactly as pictured...clean, comfortable, and quite. We had a wonderful stay!! We even saw a dolphin with her baby near the dock. This home is a great jumping off point for all your adventures!!"

"Fripp is a destination getaway to literally “get away” from your hectic daily life and simply relax and enjoy the island’s overall beauty and tranquility. As soon as you drive over the bridge and stop at the security gate you realize you have just arrived at a magical destination.
North Hampton Villas is an incredible location on the island overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Being a second floor, end unit, the view of the Atlantic Ocean is spectacular. Looking over the private pool, you are so close to the ocean you can literally throw a football off your deck and land it in the salt water. When we arrived we realized immediately the pictures from the web listing were outdated; the décor of the unit is updated with a more modern vibe of gray and purple tones. The new sectional couch is amazing. The tv is high end but only connected to basic cable, no HD and very limited channels. The unit is managed by a management company on the island which is a plus. One negative however was we had a problem getting into the unit when we first arrived; the pass code to unlock the door did not work. Fortunately we called in time and they were able to send over a service technician in about 15 minutes.
Another disappointment, there is no king size bed as advertised. The Map location linked to the unit through the website is wrong as well. It really is Ocean View versus an inland marsh/ low country view. Keep in mind that everything on Fripp Island is owned and operated by Fripp Island Resort. That means you even need an amenity card to eat at any restaurant. Fortunately, the property owner is a member of the resort and is able to get guest amenity cards for your stay. This should be a deal breaker for you as a guest of any Fripp Island property. Without the amenity card you cannot access anything; pools, tennis, golf, restaurants.
Plenty of space in two bedroom two bathroom unit
Private pool with outdoor shower
Full size washer/ dryer
Onsite management company
No HD, basic cable
No free wireless
No king bed
No golf cart charging stations
Gas grill does not work
Limited beach access within walking distance (bring your bikes)
Yes, I would rent this unit again. The view alone is worth the stay."
