  • Great getaway condo

"The property we stayed at was clean and comfortable. We were glad that it allowed dogs. It faced the ocean and the view was amazing! Places to eat: Shrimp Shack, Dockside Restaurant and Boondock. Close to town of Beaufort, great place to shop."

  • A Little Piece of Heaven

"Our family rented John and Linda's home for a week. It was pure heaven! The house was furnished with everything you could possibly need. The beds slept great and we all loved the patio and grill downstairs. We fished just about every day and we caught a lot of fish. It was very nice to be able to dock you boat at the landing by the house or tie up to the dock on the main river. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very relaxing. I know I will be back. Thank you Linda and John for your warm hospitality."

  • Small but efficient and very accomodating

"You will love the convenience of having a real kitchen rather than a stuffy hotel room with nothing to offer. Being diabetics that was a blessing for us to be able to have a regular refridgerator/stove rather than eating in a restaurant or on fast food for a week. I would also recommend staying here not only for the convenient location to shopping, the sea islands, fishing, and adventuring but the luxury of not having to kennel our little maultese. He enjoyed the trip as much as we did and we enjoyed not having to worry with him being in a kennel. Small dogs do not kennel well, especially for a period of a week--having our pet with us meant a great deal to us because a cousin of ours kenneled his maultese with his vet for a week while on a cruise and the dog died of kidney failure. Seems he wouldn't eat or drink (from grief) and suffered dehydration, thus kidney failure. I can't thank our host/hostess enough for the kindness and thoughtfulness of sharing fresh Road Island Red eggs with us from her brood of hens. That was an un-expected pleasure and they were promply cooked and eaten before half the week was gone! Boy, were they good!"

  • West street

"We were in Beaufort to visit our children and grandchildren. The room was excellent- after playing with our grandchild all day, it was great to crash early. The amenities were great. The bed was a bit small but comfortable. Plenty of towels and hot water. It was great to be able to walk out and be in the midst of downtown Beaufort. Will definitely stay there again"
