Can't say enough...
"I have been visiting Fripp since I was a little girl, and this year marks 34 years worth of visits. Since being old enough to plan my own visits, for my little family and other friends, I have never booked a stay in a tennis villa before, and honestly always avoided them, because I didn't think they were spacious enough, or the idea of a "villa" meant we had to be quiet all the time. I was completely wrong. This villa was not only spacious for 2 families, but our loud small children didn't bother the neighbors (I asked) :). The porch was great to let the kids run around on without worrying about them getting hurt, or escaping. The deer come right up to the back of the villa each morning and evening, and the view across the marsh is breathtaking at times. The spiral staircase is a little tricky for those who have children too small to navigate, but on the move---we pushed the love seat in front of them, and it was a quick fix! The beach is directly across the street, as well as a pool, so it is a great location for all ages. I will definitely be staying in the tennis villas again, they are especially great for long weekends. The owner is easy and quick to work with, and we had no problems booking our stay, or during the stay itself. I highly recommend this villa!"

"We enjoyed every moment at the big yellow house. We had 4 generations of family stay under one roof and had a blast. The house had plenty of room to connect as a family,or to escape to a peaceful porch area to read and relax. The large dining room table was great for eating together or playing multiple games at once. The view of the beach and water where great- we enjoyed sunrise and sunsets from the deck or from the beach, just a few steps away. The kitchen was great, with plenty of room and the new appliances were very nice.
A big fridge, and five burner stove were great!
The house is located very close to the beach. You have to stay up on the hi tide/low tide chart, because high tide covers the entire beach! When high tide hit,we went to the pool. The pool was a very comfortable and well laid out. I would recommend driving to the pool
We rented bikes, kayaked, went for long walks on the beach, found neat things like, horsehoe crabs, puffer fish ,hermit crabs, and we're able to witness the release of 17 leatherback turtle hatchlings on the beach-don't miss this!
Beaufort is close and a neat little town to visit with a beautiful waterfront park and great places to eat
Visit Barefoot Bubbas for t-shirts and free ice cream ( no catch!)
We also found the staff and people in the area to be very friendly and relaxed
We would highly recommend Harbor Island and the big yellow house!"

"This was my first visit to Fripp Island and I have to say I am Flipping for Fripp!!! Our experience was
Top Notch from beginning to end!!! We loved the security of the one way on, one way off this quiet, nature preserve loving island in which we saw egrets, alligators, deer, and many varieties of birds right from the deck of the house we were renting on Sandpiper Run Rd. - take your binoculars for close up viewing!! Our second delight was the house itself which the owners have taken such great care to make as an inviting vacation retreat for their guests, they have thought of every little detail!! The house decor is very upscale, the double head walk-in shower in the Master Bedroom is divine, lots of great space, a wonderful wrap around deck w/rocking chairs to sit & watch the wildlife, and our favorite kitchen amenity was the "on demand" ice maker (my sister & I decided this is a new kitchen must have appliance) - was great for packing up our cooler for the beach which of course we then happily packed onto the golf cart provided......see, I told you, the owners have thought of everything!!! The island amenity cards were a big plus for island access to everything & the owners were on target by getting those set up for us in advance!! The only down side I can even think of was having to leave @ the end of one week.......this is a "Must Return" to island and island home!!! Oh, and did I mention how responsive and helpful the owners were? Top Notch in every way!!"

"A very comfortable and well equipped condo that is close to club amenities (pools, exercise room, tennis courts, etc.). The unit has a screened porch overlooking a creek and marsh area with all sorts of wildlife to watch (birds, deer and on one occasion during our 5 day stay a pod of 3 dolphin) and is a short walk to the beach on the Atlantic."
