"This was our first stay at this property,it was so peaceful ,the grounds are beautiful. The house was great. My husband liked it so well, he was the first to talk about coming back for a week. You are close to the beach attractions but away from the noise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND"

  • Murrells Inlet

"While the greater Myrtle Beach area caters to all, for those looking for a quite, peaceful get away booking a week away in this condo is the perfect answer. The Wachasaw Plantation Club is a secluded location on the banks of the ICW. There is a marina very close to the resort with a wonderful restaurant called K-Reays. We rented a pontoon boat for half a day and enjoyed the beauty of the ICW. The unit is furnished with everything you can think of and includes the opportunity to play their golf course. We loved it and will be back."

  • Family Wedding

"Our son and daughter-in-law celebrated their wedding ceremony at Kimbels so this was a perfect place to stay. We were very pleased with the decor and spacious rooms. Loved sitting out on the screened- in porch during the early morning and late evening. The pool was a short walk from the cottage and Kimbels was not much further. The surrounding live oaks and beautiful ground were a plus."

  • Gold Star Getaway

"The pluses of this destination were apparent immediately upon arrival - quiet, gated neighborhood, pool directly accross the street with golf course surrounding the property. The Condo was tastefully decorated, well maintained and vey well appointed with all away from home necessities and amenities (the porch and rocking chairs were bonus fetaures). The location was excellent - close to Murrell's "Marsh Walk" and restaurants, the BrookGreen gardens, spacious Stat Park beach and of course surrounded by a variety of golf options.(The on- sight International Club course staff were very accomodating) After past visits to North Myrtle Beach, this was a very pleasant experience our family looks forward to repeating. Clean, comfortable and convenient - would definitely return and recommend to others.."

Make Time to Enjoy the Grand Strand with Murrells Inlet Vacation Houses

Over the years, northern Myrtle Beach in South Carolina has become a premiere vacation destination, appealing to not only college kids but also families, couples, and retirees. Murrells Inlet vacation houses are located right in the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, ensuring perfect beaches, great views of the ocean, and plenty of family fun. It’s called the Grand Strand because of its 60 miles of coastline. If you pair all of that with southern hospitality, staying in Myrtle Beach house rentals is the ideal way to have the best family vacation possible.

Myrtle Beach Resorts Were Once Populated by Pirates

Though the area surrounding your Myrtle Beach resorts seems modern, there is plenty of history and lore about. Centuries ago, pirates hid out and buried treasure along the inlet waterways, including the infamous Blackbeard. In fact, the legend of Drunken Jack was born because Blackbeard left him to guard the casks of rum but returned to find only bones and empty bottles. It is said that Drunken Jack still roams the island not far from Murrells Inlet rentals. When you arrive, keep your eyes open!

Other Things to Do near Murrells Inlet Vacation Homes

So fishing and boating are not your recreational activities of choice? That does not mean you will not enjoy time spent in Murrells Inlet rentals.
