  • Great Family Vacation

"Had a great family vacation! The Havens condo was great. Felt like a home away from home. Very clean and comfortable with all the accommodations you could ask for. Also great location! The pool and beach shuttle is right outside your door! The beach is a quick 5 minute ride with public parking very accessible. Nightly entertainment is right around the corner, as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Also, the booking process was great. Gary was pleasant and easy to work with. He was always available to answer any and all questions and made the renting process a breeze. Thanks again Gary for a great vacation!"

  • Great Beach Cove Stay

"We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It felt clean, and it matched our expectations. We received a small welcome packet of toilet paper, paper towels, etc., so we didn't have to rush right to the store upon arrival. As expected, you will have to provide your own food and supplies. Towels and linens are provided, but you will need to do your own laundry and cleaning, because it's a privately owned residence, not under Beach Cove's "housekeeping" services. That was mostly a "plus" for us because we didn't have to worry about locking up our valuables. On an extremely positive note, we were especially impressed with Seaside Vacations. When we couldn't locate an iron in our room, they went out and purchased one for us. We just had to pick it up at their office, located about ten minutes away. As far as Beach Cove goes, the amenities are excellent. It's right on the beach. The pool area is fabulous, lush with trees and flowers, and they play recorded beachy music or host live musicians from late morning until evening. Its atmosphere can't be beat. You'll have access to racquetball, an arcade, and all the dining establishments. Overall, our stay was a good one. Renting this unit costs about $600 less than what the actual resort charges (at least, for us). You'll notice I gave four stars and not five. This isn't because we were unhappy, and some are not necessarily the fault of the owner or the rental agency, but these are the specific reasons I marked this stay as a four: - We were not provided with pool bracelets. Beach Cove requires these, yet Seaside Vacations was unaware of them. It was a simple fix (visit the HOA office on the first floor of the resort), but we kept getting different stories about whether we needed them, how to acquire, etc. - The resort's fitness facilities were unavailable to us because we did not have a magnetic swipe card key, but rather a traditional metal key used to access our room. I really wish we would've had access. - The décor hasn't been updated. If you compare this unit to other privately-owned Beach Cove units, you will notice nice to impressive improvements. However, those units are usually more expensive. - The mini-fridge did not properly cool our items. After our first night, we had to throw away some perishables in the door because they were room temperature. - The storage options were somewhat limited, and the bedroom dresser drawers need repaired. Other units have made improvements to increase storage."

  • Beautiful!!

"We stayed in the owner's other condo in the building next door in Ironwood. I must say, the condo was beautifully decorated, large rooms, very inviting & comfortable, well stocked with everything you needed, and very clean!! It was so nice to be in such a quiet area but still so close to everything. The grounds are absolutely beautiful & very well-kept. The keyless entry made it so convenient and the owner was so nice to work with. My family & I had a great vacation!!"

  • Fantastic Location

"We had a wonderful stay during our vacation. The condo was very well kept, decorated nicely, and had plenty of room of all of us to stretch out, there were 8 people total (6 adults and 2 infants). Logistically there is a grocery store, wine & alcohol shop within walking distance (within a mile), and plenty of restaurants and shopping areas close by that require a 5 minute drive or less. Barefoot Landing is also very close and is a nice place to walk around at night and do some shopping or grabbing a bite to eat. Everyone on the trip commented several times how nice the condo was and how the location was ideal. Personally, I cannot wait to go back and look forward to future trips to Myrtle Beach and will stay here again for sure. For the price, location, and how well kept the condo is I’m not sure there is a better deal to be found in the area. Shirley and Garry were also very helpful and quick to respond to any question that I had leading up to the trip and they even touched base with me after we got settled in to make sure everything was in order. I found the property staff helpful as well. When we arrived Saturday afternoon there was a staff member walking around helping direct traffic so all the incoming families could get in, unload and out to park for the week as simple as possible. The attendant supervising the pool area was also very helpful in answering a few questions I had and was also nice enough to open the gates several times for me as I was “pack muling” stuff from the room out to the beach."
