Loved the Log Inn!
"We had a great time at Log Inn the week of our daughter's wedding on Pawley's Island! We fell in love with the house, the history of the island it showcases, the books, and the family it sheltered for many years! With most of us being farmers, a biology teacher and an environmental science major, the book collection was much enjoyed! You had something for every age to explore inside and out! We wanted to stay another week, it felt like home! Thank you for being so gracious as to allow us to host the rehearsal dinner, the lovely screened in porch worked out perfectly to feed everyone, and protected everything from the short thunderstorm that rolled by during the dinner! Having the marsh all around us and the ocean in front of us was such a treat! Everyone, young and old, had a perfect place to have fun and enjoy each others company! With newly married loved ones nearby, we would love to make the Log Inn a family tradition!"

"We had an excellent vacation in beautiful house. The house is very nice and we had a great time enjoying the porch with golf view. Kids and adults enjoyed playing when golf was not in session. Beach is 7-10 minutes from the house and not too far...beaches are very clean and not crowded at all. (considering labor day wkend). Owners of the property are very nice and work with you."

"I would not describe this resort as your normal tourist getaway. It is more like someone's summer home. The accommodations are nice. It's quite and not very crowded at all. The unit was clean, but did not appear to prepared for guests by a professional service. While the decor was pretty, it was dated, but the unit had all the comforts of home. We quickly realized that Litchfield by the Sea is one of those well kept secrets where the population is predominantly white. While most people are friendly and quite talkative others stare making it obvious that they aren't used to seeing people of color. Overall I had a nice time. If you are looking for something quiet and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach this is the place for you. No matter what walk of life you come from."

"We spent a wonderful week at this home! It was filled with antiques and history! The only negatives are it did not have an enclosed outside shower - which would have been a nice addition. The downstairs bedrooms are connected with the only way to enter 5th bedroom is through the 4th - which made it hard for our family to use one of them. My only advice would be for owner to give everything a good heavy spring cleaning and replace downstairs a/c. It was by no
not clean! We very much enjoyed our stay and especially sharing it with our pet!"
