  • Beautiful home, nice amenities, golf cart and yard A++++!!!

"We had a wonderful week at this property. The golf cart and ride to the beach are great! The beach, absolutely perfect. Quiet neighborhood, picturesque setting, porches all around and the river in the back, lovely. Plenty of room for everyone and having 4 baths is a definite plus! Only thing I might say in the negative, if stairs are a problem for you skip this property. That being said this is still a fabulous place to stay, we loved it. Being able to have our little furry friend along also was a big +! Highly recommended!"

  • Great place

"Well appointed town home right on the Fairway with lots of space for everyone. We stayed and played some golf at Pawleys and this location works great. The owners do a great job keeping it up and making sure all arrangements are complete for your arrival. Highly recommended if you need a spot on Pawleys and don't need to be right on the water."

  • Great vacation!

"We had a very nice stay in this True Blue condo. It was very bright and clean with a screened in porch, which was perfect to enjoy drinks after dinner on. The condo also had many amenities included, which I have not had provided at other rentals in Pawleys Island (spices, dish towels, coffee filters, welcome basket, etc.) It was also nice that the condo was centrally located to many popular places - the Hammock Shops, Murrells Inlet and more! The course clubhouse offered reasonably priced breakfast and lunch specials which were delicious and was within walking distance. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation! Thank you!!"

  • Love this place

"For years I spent the third week in June here. Unable to go for a few years, then last year I went in November and now plan this month for each year. I love this house because of the porches. There are a screened in porch and a small non screened area facing the creek. Perfect for sunrise. On the ocean side, there are a screened in porch, large open deck. Perfect for sunrise. Downstairs there is a covered concrete area and best of all, at high tide the ocean actually comes in under the stairs to the beach. The house is unassuming and comfortable. It is quiet,non-touristy. My little slice of heaven every year."

Pawleys Island Travel Tips

Pawleys Island Vacation Homes Make up the Oldest East Coast Resort Area

Within South Carolina’s Grand Strand is Pawleys Island, which proudly describes itself as “arrogantly shabby.” Pawleys Island vacation homes have been the most popular of Myrtle Beach resorts over the years. The beaches on which Pawleys Island rentals are located are mostly private and perfectly pristine. Surrounded by oodles to do, including golf, tennis, fishing, family entertainment, and tons of restaurants, it is no surprise that Pawleys Island has only grown in popularity.

Pawleys Island Rentals Are Centrally Located

Just 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach and 70 miles north of Charleston, Pawleys Island vacation homes are centrally located to two of South Carolina’s most popular destinations. In fact, many Myrtle Beach resorts extend to this area as it is known as the oldest summer resort area on the East Coast. It was in the early 1700s that rice planters settled the region by the rivers; each May they would relocate to what is now Pawleys Island. Based on this history, the charm of Pawleys Island rentals has only remained strong.

Do Not Miss the Ghostly Fun at Myrtle Beach Resorts

Perhaps because the area is so old, there are so many stories of ghosts along the shore near Pawleys Island vacation homes. One of the most famous local legends is that of the Gray Man. The Gray Man is a friendly ghost who is seen mostly when hurricanes are near and thought to warn the town of the danger. It is said that he walks the shores of Pawleys Island and the surrounding area when hurricanes are nearing. So, if you are into ghost hunts, keep your eyes open for the Gray Man.

You Will Never Be Bored at Pawleys Island Vacation Homes

Obviously, the beaches are a major draw of Myrtle Beach house rentals. However, there is so much more to enjoy when staying in Pawleys Island rentals. If you are into the nightlife, do not miss Broadway at the Beach, which consists of a huge cluster of bars, restaurants, shops, and theaters. If you are interested in aquatic life, check out Ripley’s Aquarium on Celebrity Circle; the whole family will love it. If miniature golf is your thing, you will not want to miss Mount Atlanticus.
