A week in Pawleys
"The condo exceeded expectations, beautiful furnished and well equipped, golf course looks breathtaking, but we are not golfers. Nice information pack. Locally Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park are wonderful. Having visited a lot of nice places in the world both are outstanding. it's a pity it's a long way from Germany but well worth the visit."

"After only a few hours in the Log-Inn our entire family felt comfortably 'at home'. The house is unique, spacious but also cozy, filled with beautiful family photos and interesting stories of children growing up on Pawleys Island. The ocean is normally the main attraction during a beach vacation, and the ocean was just a short walk away. For our family the creek became the hub for most activities including fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, exploring, and crabbing. We highly recommend guests with kayaks, canoes, or other boats to take the excursion to the southern inlet - our teens said that was the highlight of the week. Prior to the trip I was a bit concerned for the safety of our 16 month old granddaughter in an older house, but the owners volunteered a pack-n-play and safety gates, then surprised us with a new high chair. She was fine. As for recommendations, let me just say that our family has already voted, and we will be returning to the Log-Inn for a week in the summer of 2016."

"Our family of 4 stayed here for our beach trip. This was our first time to Pawley's Island and we loved the slower pace and quietness of this area as opposed to Myrtle Beach. This condo was in excellent condition upon arrival. We found everything extra we needed, including sugar! We brought groceries and were able to eat many meals without having to go out. But if you do go out Pawley's Raw bar is excellent as well as La Playa, both within a couple miles of this condo. We loved sitting outside on the screen balcony watching the golfers, it was one of our favorite things to do on this trip. We also took advantage of the Huntington State Park pass and went a few times to the beach as well as an alligator tour. The pool area is quiet and several times we went and were the only ones there! Usually when we go to the beach we stay in very noisy, crowded places because we want to be close to things, but we found there is plenty to do in Pawley's, from shopping to the Brook garden plus all the activities Huntington State park offers. The owners are really easy to work with and respond quickly to emails. We had an issue with payment because we had just ran out of checks, but they worked with us and gave us other options to pay. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely rent again!"
