  • very nice time!

"overall my wife, three children and I were very pleased with our stay at Mr. Briggs' condo in Anderson SC. It was blazing hot, so the pool was blissful to beat the heat after doing excursions to NC and Greenville/Spartanburg area. Very clean, plenty of room, nice to have a full kitchen and laundry facilities available, and plenty of restaurants near if we wanted to eat out. Mr. Briggs offered excellent and timely responses to any questions or problems that we had. Thanks you sir for opening your condo to us. We would definitely recommend this condo for comfort and convenience. Friendly people aroud too!"

  • Roomy and clean!

"My husband and I vacationed in this beautiful home along with my in-laws... There were 10 of us in all and there was PLENTY of space! The sofas are tremendously comfy to cuddle and sleep on! The beds were great...even the roll away beds (2) were comfy! There were 20 year olds sleeping on them and they were totally fine. I want to address the steepness of the slope because this was something that concerned me before I arrived. I'm from Forida, so ANY incline is a big deal to me, besides three of us are overweight if you get my drift. Yes, it is steep, however, we just made one trip a day! We brought everything we needed with us and played all day in the lake! Even the kids and dogs were breathing hard after climbing the hill, but it is a nice wooden walkway all the way. There are nice railings to steady yourself, and hey... Just take your time going back up! After all, your on vacation! I'd stop occasionally and admire the view, then walk a bit more. It I can do it, anyone can do it, lol. And the exercise is good for ya! The pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc were more than adequate too. Tons of huge fluffy towels too... No corners cut with this house. I especially loved the extra seating outside the kitchen on the screened porch. Cool bug free evenings. There's even a tv out there! They really thought of everything! And the owners, you call em with anything and they get straight back with you. Its a safe neighborhood too. we left our rafts etc down on the dock and had no problems with theft. the dock stereo is a great touch too. about half of us were too chicken to jump off the top of the dock roof, maybe next time... I've rented houses all over the US for years and this is by FAR the nicest. Trust me, you won't be sorry!"

  • Peaceful Lake setting

"Our family loved staying here for the week. Being right on the water with the covered dock was great, and we had fun fishing and relaxing. This was a first time to rent a house somewhere and with all the comforts of home we will definitely do it again. If you are planning a trip to Lake Hartwell this is a great house. Side note - it is quite a climb up from the lake so people with difficulty walking might find it hard to go down there."

  • Perfect for a Large Group!

"I wanted to plan a reunion trip to a Clemson football game with many other friends, but was having trouble finding a home large enough to accommodate our group. I was beginning to look at renting two smaller homes when I found this listing. John is a wonderful owner; he is very prompt, friendly and informative if you have any questions about the property. I booked the trip and the house was better than I could have ever imagined - The house is massive inside! The bedrooms are set up well, and the two kitchens and living rooms are wonderful. There are plenty of bathrooms and the house was clean with tons of linens. Everyone was comfortable during our stay! The dock was perfect for our rental pontoon, and the location is very close to campus. I am extremely happy with how everything worked out, and cannot wait to rent this property again!"
