"We enjoyed our family vacation at the AquaCrib. The house is beautiful and offers many areas to play or relax. My family and I are lake junkies so we spent most of the daylight hours on the water skiing, tubing and wake boarding. The great two story dock gave us a retreat to take in the sun and swim. The covered seating area was a great place to rest from our busy day and play corn hole. Thank you for sharing your beautiful well laid out home with us."

"What a gem! Very quiet, very secluded. House was immaculate and very well furnished. We rented a pontoon boat for the week, plus had access to the owner's canoe and paddle boat. The water is absolutely gorgeous, and, for the most part, very lightly traveled. Our grandchildren loved the fishing and learned to waterski. Part of our group went hiking most mornings, but I found the quiet and beauty of the surroundings quite relaxing, and very seldom left. We wish it was a little closer to our home in Louisiana, but our whole family enjoyed our trip and we hope to go back again soon. The owner was a pleasure to work with and made sure our trip was enjoyable."

"Just got back from a week at this wonderful home. There were 2 families with teenagers and young adults. The house itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The beds and bedding are high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked all but one meal at home. The basement is HUGE and the teens and young adults thoroughly enjoyed having their own space. The pool table and poker table were a big hit as well. There is no WiFi, however, we used our own Hotspot and the Clemson graduate student in our group was able to work on her schoolwork just fine.
The house is great, but what makes this property amazing the the outdoor space. Yes, the hill is steep. However, it is quite manageable. The 4 middle aged, out of shape "grown ups" in our group walked the hill several times a day and lived to tell about it. In fact, my calves haven't looked this good in years! The cove is simply the best. Deep, quiet, secluded. We felt like it was our own private lagoon. The dock is large, has power, water and a sturdy ladder. I could have just stayed in the cove all day. We rented a pontoon and took the kids tubing. Lake Hartwell is a beautiful lake. It is clean and not nearly as crowded as the lake close to our house.
Bryan, the owner, is great to work with. We actually met him when we checked in. He is super nice, efficient, and thorough.
Our crew has rented lake homes for the past 5 summers. We all agree this is our favorite. We will be back next summer!"

"My family recently spent Christmas at this cabin. We were looking for a place that was affordable for a family with 3 college students , but also one that was nice. This cabin was perfect. THis house is very comfortable and has everything one could need. The sound system/tv was incredible. We loved playing the games that were there (which we did a lot because it rained for 2 days). The kitchen was fully stocked. I was a little concerned since I would be making Christmas dinner there, but I didn't need to be worried. We loved the fireplace and it made for a very cozy Christmas Eve. We were happy to see the sun on Christmas and found a local waterfall which we drove to and hiked and then that night we stargazed. The number of stars was incredible.
I was a little concerned about the driveway because of other reviews, but if you follow Chris's directions that he sends there is no problem. We have a very old Honda Odyssey and it had no issues and neither did my husband's sedan. THe only driving issue is that if you have a low car don't take the adventurous route and go through the stream. Take the other way to the cabin. Chris explains all this in the directions.
I cannot recommend this cabin enough. I"m already thinking about when I can come back either with my family or just my husband for a retreat"
