"My family enjoyed the stay very much both before and after tailgating at Clemson. For all of us to be together in the same location was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well equipped. There is now a lovely table that seats six instead of the barstools. Great place to prepare for tailgating at Clemson. I hope to return to this property again."

"We rented the house for the weekend to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. Great space accommodated 4 couples and the bottom level with pool table and media room were awesome. We had two boats and plenty of room at the doc. A great place next to the house to put the boat in and we saw deer in the yard. We will definitely stay again in the future."

"I am a professional angler and recently rented the house for one of our tournaments. In this profession we are away from home and our family a lot so having a great place like this to stay for the week really makes things easier to prepare for the event, rest appropriately, and feel at home. It was in the perfect area for me to get to all areas on the lake and had everything needed for my boat parking and prepping my boat each night before the event. The owner is absolutely amazing and super nice. It's tough being away from your family and dealing with the pressure to do well and prepare for the tournament but this place sure made things so much easier on me this week as I felt at home. I will be bringing my family back next time to enjoy all it has to offer."

"Just got back from a week at this wonderful home. There were 2 families with teenagers and young adults. The house itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The beds and bedding are high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked all but one meal at home. The basement is HUGE and the teens and young adults thoroughly enjoyed having their own space. The pool table and poker table were a big hit as well. There is no WiFi, however, we used our own Hotspot and the Clemson graduate student in our group was able to work on her schoolwork just fine.
The house is great, but what makes this property amazing the the outdoor space. Yes, the hill is steep. However, it is quite manageable. The 4 middle aged, out of shape "grown ups" in our group walked the hill several times a day and lived to tell about it. In fact, my calves haven't looked this good in years! The cove is simply the best. Deep, quiet, secluded. We felt like it was our own private lagoon. The dock is large, has power, water and a sturdy ladder. I could have just stayed in the cove all day. We rented a pontoon and took the kids tubing. Lake Hartwell is a beautiful lake. It is clean and not nearly as crowded as the lake close to our house.
Bryan, the owner, is great to work with. We actually met him when we checked in. He is super nice, efficient, and thorough.
Our crew has rented lake homes for the past 5 summers. We all agree this is our favorite. We will be back next summer!"
