"This townhome was immaculate. Our party stayed for 2 nights and needless to say, it was so difficult to leave! The location on the lakefront is absolutely breathtaking; it is literally a 3 minute walk down to the docks where you can hang out by the pristine water. We spent hours of the day either swimming and kayaking, or just laying out in the South Carolinian sun. A few neighbors were enjoying the lake as well and welcomed us with friendly greetings.
On to the inside: The home itself is kept in wonderful condition and was super clean when we arrived. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in as all the appliances were very modern and all your basic kitchen tools were already there (pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc.). The living room has a modern TV with a great sound system for watching some football. The sofas and reclining chairs - oh. my. They leaned so far back and were SO comfortable that taking a quick (but not so quick) nap was inevitable. The surplus of beds and multiple bathrooms easily accommodated our party. I had the most refreshing sleep on these beds and the showers had great water pressure and hot water. The townhome was large enough and the lake was close enough that everyone could find their own personal haven whenever they wanted some alone time to read or just bask in nature. What I enjoyed most was the netted (think NO pesky bugs or mosquitoes) patio where we hung out together playing card/board games and enjoyed most of our meals with the cool, natural breeze. We also had a few meals in the dining room, which is furnished with a large, sturdy wooden table for that homestyle meal. There is even a charcoal grill available outside to make burgers and other grill-fare. Instructions on what to do upon arrival and leaving were clear and concise. The community feels very safe and was quite easy to find/get to.
With my busy schedule and hectic lifestyle, this was honestly such a relaxing and much needed escape to deal with the stress of grad school. I, as well as my friends, sincerely hope to stay here again in the near future and absolutely recommend it!"

"Rented the property for the weekend because of its location ...which was perfect! Our son's wedding was at the Cliffs at Glassy and the reception at the Valley ballroom. This home is centrally located between the two venues. We found the property to be very accommodating with more than ample room, all the modern up grades, and very well stocked with beautiful decor and very privste. We were blessed with beautiful and had an amazing weekend filled with precious memories! Thank you JESUS!!!!"

"Just got back from a week at this wonderful home. There were 2 families with teenagers and young adults. The house itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The beds and bedding are high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked all but one meal at home. The basement is HUGE and the teens and young adults thoroughly enjoyed having their own space. The pool table and poker table were a big hit as well. There is no WiFi, however, we used our own Hotspot and the Clemson graduate student in our group was able to work on her schoolwork just fine.
The house is great, but what makes this property amazing the the outdoor space. Yes, the hill is steep. However, it is quite manageable. The 4 middle aged, out of shape "grown ups" in our group walked the hill several times a day and lived to tell about it. In fact, my calves haven't looked this good in years! The cove is simply the best. Deep, quiet, secluded. We felt like it was our own private lagoon. The dock is large, has power, water and a sturdy ladder. I could have just stayed in the cove all day. We rented a pontoon and took the kids tubing. Lake Hartwell is a beautiful lake. It is clean and not nearly as crowded as the lake close to our house.
Bryan, the owner, is great to work with. We actually met him when we checked in. He is super nice, efficient, and thorough.
Our crew has rented lake homes for the past 5 summers. We all agree this is our favorite. We will be back next summer!"
