  • An Absolutely Wonderful Place to Stay.

"Our family had a wonderful time staying at this house. It was in the perfect location for our needs. Our family (7 of us staying for 5 days) and friends had plenty of room. Our son and Daughter in-law came up from Charleston to attend Clemson's graduation and stayed one night. Clemson is only a 40-45 minute drive away. Our daughter and her boyfriend came up for dinner and to hang out. So in all we had 13 people in the house and never felt crowded. We also had some heated foosball competitions downstairs!! We were able to see some wonderful waterfalls in both North and South Carolina. We drove to Brevard, NC (maybe an hour) to go to Sliding Rock and Looking Glass Falls! What a blast. We also went to other falls in the area during our stay. There are guide books in the house (we made some notations to assist others) Also, the Kergers have put together a couple of three ring binders with useful information. On our first night in the house my son and I were outside just enjoying the quite, and noticed what sounded like a waterfall. Just follow the sound across the street and there is a nice secluded "private" waterfall. The house is well equipped, but I do recommend bringing some of your own pots and pans. Don't forget your own spices, we did and had to run to the store to buy them. Ingles is only 15 minutes away and BiLo about 20-25. There were plenty of sheets and towels for every bed/person. The house is located on a dead-end road and we only saw two vehicles the entire week. There are board games in the house, but I recommend bringing some of your own. Also, bring CD's or your own Blue Tooth speaker system. The house has wifi that works, but I have unlimited data and the cell signal was good. The TV works, but the antenna.... not so much. I don't think we turned the TV on but a couple of times all week!! There is a "Sliding Rock" in the resort area behind the condo's. Not so much fun. Again the drive to Brevard is nice and we had a great time. Next time we stay we will bring our clubs to play a round of golf. Course looked good and the rates were reasonable. Everything is clean and the property manager Brenda Jones (Great last name!) made sure we had everything we needed. The entire process from booking to arrival to check out was hassle free. We are already planning our next trip to the area for later this summer and we will be staying here again! Thank you for reading this lengthy review. The Jonesgang."

  • Beautiful location!

"This was our second stay here - the new renovations on the ground floor are amazing! There's a wonderful executive suite downstairs and a neat bar, all it needs now is a small fridge :) Our group comes here for spring cycling training. You can't ask for a better location, close to all the major climbs and some excellent forest roads out the back door. If I could request one upgrade it would be a jacuzzi off the lower level ;)"

  • Beautiful cabin

"We recently stayed at this cabin to meet a friend in South Carolina. It is a beautiful cabin and very well maintained. Very quiet surroundings and very relaxing. Loved sitting out side with a cup of coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. We were gone a lot during the day sight seeing so did not use a lot of amenities in the home that were provided. There is a beautiful winery also within a few miles of this cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in this area. Absolutely gorgeous and the owner, John, is very easy to work with also."

  • Wonderful house in a great location

"This is our favorite getaway in Upstate SC! The house is beautiful and well-kept, with plenty of room and in a convenient location. We especially love the porches overlooking the. Mountains and stables below. My husband and I love to camp, hike, and spend time on the water, and the house is close to both Keowee-Toxaway and Devils Fork State Parks, so there is plenty of outdoor adventure nearby. Plus, the house is very cozy for a quiet weekend retreat if that's what you're looking for. We've had several great experiences here and will definitely continue to visit the area and stay in the "tree house"!"
