Overview of Table Rock Vacation Rentals
Experience Nature Firsthand with Table Rock Vacation Rentals
There are plenty of getaways in South Carolina, from the seacoast to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where one can find Table Rock State Park in the town of Pickens. The park offers fishing, hiking, and birding in a relaxed, cool mountain location. Table Rock vacation rentals are easy to find, from antebellum country homes with wide, wraparound porches, to brand-new condos on the shores of Table Rock's two lakes.
Table Rock, Historic and Inviting
Table Rock State Park is one of South Carolina's most popular parks. But with over 3,000 acres of conservation land, it's hard for it to get crowded. Around 20 homesteads were located there through the Civil War. At the turn of the century, thousands of acres around Table Rock Mountain were donated to the state. The park was built in the early 1930s. Today, the towns around Table Rock hold the small, Southern charm of yesteryear, but have access to modern conveniences. The area has many by-owner vacation homes. These homes have all the convenience of a hotel or timeshare, but also posess the cozy charm of cared-for and lived-in home. Despite Table Rock's remoteness, almost all vacation homes have access to the Internet, and cable television.
A Lifetime's Worth of Outdoor Experiences
There is plenty to do in the Table Rock area, from simply breathing the fresh air of the Blue Ridge Mountains to boating and fishing on Lake Oolenoy's 67 acres of open water. There are foot and bike trails to the summits of Mts. Table Rock and Pinnacle. Lodging and Table Rock vacation rentals are easy to find, including plenty of Upcountry South Carolina condos and Table Rock Lake homes. Many are built in the traditional, austere log cabin style. But inside, they are full of all the comfort and convenience of a modern home.
