"I actually stayed here for two weekends in the fall (Labor Day and 10/18) and was extremely happy with the overall experience. The house has a great layout for groups of friends or families and is a convenient 10-minute drive to the Clemson campus. There is a great screened-in porch to enjoy the cool nights without getting eaten by bugs, or a very large outdoor deck if the bugs aren't a problem. The dock is set on a nice quiet cove and great for swimming or fishing. The check-in and check-out processes are easy and painless. Regardless of the reason you're going to be in the Seneca area, this is a great rental property. I'm looking forward to staying there next year!"Guest: Darren Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: October 30, 2013View listing
"My family just concluded a week vacation at this beautiful, luxurious mountain retreat in the Cliffs community. This immaculately clean mountain home is just steps from the Wellness Center and trails and has all of the amenities that you could possibly desire on vacation -- my kids were in heaven with the air hockey in the basement. We have utilized VRBO rentals throughout the world and this home is easily at the top of our list and we hope to return in subsequent summers. Jojo is such a professional to deal with and was always responsive to our questions throughout the process. I cannot say enough about how thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable it was to stay in this Cliffs community home. Thanks, JoJo, for such a memorable vacation -- we hope to return next summer!!"Guest: Mark F. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 7, 2014View listing

"What an outstanding place. Large spacious and set WAY back in the woods. We were in town for a wedding and had plenty of room, 4 couples slept comfortably in their own rooms, and a teenager on one of the couches. we had family come over for large breakfast 14 people and still plenty of cooking/eating room. we were never crowded. After breakfast we went to the 100 yard shooting range and set up a 100 yard rifle, a 25 yard pistol and they even had a sporting clay thrower for us to use. this is truly a place for the out doorsy type. tons of stuff to do. We will be staying there again."Guest: Big B Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 6, 2014View listing

The Peace of Savings
It's difficult to enjoy your vacation if you know that you'll be returning home to a drained bank account or a maxed-out credit card. You can save yourself the financial hangover by staying in one of the Whitewater Lake vacation homes or one of the quaint Upcountry South Carolina cottages, which are perfect for small families.
Instead of eating all of your meals in a restaurant, live like a local by shopping at the markets and making your own favorite dishes. Not only will you be saving money, but you will also be salvaging your peace of mind. After all, what is the use of a vacation if it just leads to more stress afterwards?
All of the Whitewater Lake vacation rentals and Upcountry South Carolina cottages come equipped with kitchens, and many of them also have laundry facilities. This can be especially useful for those who plan on enjoying the outdoors, rain or shine, and those traveling with small children. While doing a load of laundry on vacation might not seem like heaven, it's much better than facing a hotel laundry bill, so toss in a load of clothes, put up your feet, and enjoy.
