"We had a family reunion for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Family roots are from the Black Hills and we had family from Minnesota, Wyoming and Arizona. The house was awesome, pictures do not do it justice. There was so much room we never felt crowded. Even though it rained much of trip we never felt closed in. The family room, the loft with pool table, the kitchen and huge dining room table, the hot tub, the beautiful deck and the quiet main living room with the beautiful picture window overlooking the Hills all were used. Even the garage was used for bean toss game and conversations. The personal touches with pictures and décor relative to the area added to the enjoyment. We enjoyed watching the deer as they came routinely. We heard the wild turkeys but didn't see them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had great family time."

"It was a great house having all the amenities of a full kitchen, multiple bathrooms, linens, and laundry. The downfalls were the very very dusty fans and the squeaky and very uncomfortable master bed. The other beds were comfortable. We loved the porch that overlooked the 1880 Train. Plus it was our alarm clock in the morning. The house had plenty of space for everybody to spread out. I would recommend the house to anybody."

"We stayed here for a week before the big Sturgis rally. Great place to be close to the action but not in the middle of it. Dee was very helpful and always near by if we needed anything. The sound of the stream running by was very nice and we spent much of our time on the porch watching the birds and chipmunks or in the hot tub with a frozen drink! things to note if you are staying here while the creek is pretty and we say quite a few kids playing in it, my guess would be that they are from up north, we are from Florida and the 60 creek was not something our think skin would let us float in! Also I am sure it is in the description but I failed to notice that although there are two bathrooms there is only one shower so we had to share the bathroom at times, although I have to say I did take a hot bubble bath the day after riding to Rushmore and back and it is a wonderful bathtub!! There is no air-conditioning but the nights were cool enough that we were never uncomfortable. Thanks so much Dee I have a feeling we will see you again!"
