"This house was perfect for our families (total of 10 people) vacationing together in Mt. Rushmore area. The sights we wanted to visit (Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and Mammoth Site) were all within very easy driving distance.
The house is beautiful as are the surroundings. There is a lovely creek that runs through the property. The kids enjoyed exploring the house and the grounds outside. It is very quiet---there are no visible houses.
The agent who manages this property was very responsive and easy to work with.
We've rented many times from VRBO and this ranks close to, if not at the top of, our list."

"Love this cabin so much that we want to keep it a secret, so we can be sure the dates we want to return are available in the future. You can't beat the view and the pleasure of watching the horses come down from the pasture to the KOA campground in the morning and return in the evening. It is secluded enough to remain peaceful, yet you have the luxury of using the KOA pools and activities. The screened in porch is where we spent most of our time. The cool breeze keeps the porch comfortable all day. If you close up the main part of the cabin in the morning, it stays cool all day. We didn't want to leave and are ready to book again next year."

"We just returned from an incredible family trip to the Black Hills area. MGG was the PERFECT cabin for our family! The cabin was spotless, well maintained and showed obvious signs of owner pride. My oldest daughter even commented to me how much pride the owners must take in their cabin. The beds were super comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with all of the furnishings, bedding, blankets, towels, firewood, etc. we could possibly need. It was clear to us that a lot of thought was put into making the cabin enjoyable for guests. The outside of the cabin was equally great with plenty of room for our children to play, run, explore and have fun. Additionally, the views cannot be beat. We enjoyed the town of Hill City as it offered some unique shopping and dining options. Also, it is centrally located to the areas we traveled to including Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cabin - truly top notch in all areas!!!"

"We stayed here for a week before the big Sturgis rally. Great place to be close to the action but not in the middle of it. Dee was very helpful and always near by if we needed anything. The sound of the stream running by was very nice and we spent much of our time on the porch watching the birds and chipmunks or in the hot tub with a frozen drink! things to note if you are staying here while the creek is pretty and we say quite a few kids playing in it, my guess would be that they are from up north, we are from Florida and the 60 creek was not something our think skin would let us float in! Also I am sure it is in the description but I failed to notice that although there are two bathrooms there is only one shower so we had to share the bathroom at times, although I have to say I did take a hot bubble bath the day after riding to Rushmore and back and it is a wonderful bathtub!! There is no air-conditioning but the nights were cool enough that we were never uncomfortable. Thanks so much Dee I have a feeling we will see you again!"
