"We stayed here for a week before the big Sturgis rally. Great place to be close to the action but not in the middle of it. Dee was very helpful and always near by if we needed anything. The sound of the stream running by was very nice and we spent much of our time on the porch watching the birds and chipmunks or in the hot tub with a frozen drink! things to note if you are staying here while the creek is pretty and we say quite a few kids playing in it, my guess would be that they are from up north, we are from Florida and the 60 creek was not something our think skin would let us float in! Also I am sure it is in the description but I failed to notice that although there are two bathrooms there is only one shower so we had to share the bathroom at times, although I have to say I did take a hot bubble bath the day after riding to Rushmore and back and it is a wonderful bathtub!! There is no air-conditioning but the nights were cool enough that we were never uncomfortable. Thanks so much Dee I have a feeling we will see you again!"

"Great place to stay..centrally located..beautiful scenery. Very clean and the owners are very helpful. This cabin made our family trip a complete success! Everyone loved it..just beautiful and spacious!! Hot tub was fun and relaxing..we stayed in cabin B with 7 adults and 4 kids and it suited us wonderfully. Big backyard with a quiet setting..can't say enough good about it...would definitely recommend these cabins to anyone wanting a great Black Hills vacation experience!!"

"10 from our family spent about one week at Old No. 7 Place in August. It was just the right size for us, as everyone could have their privacy. The children loved "the log house" as they called it. The kitchen was great, and everything we needed was there for our use. It would be a great place to visit in the winter if people were interested in winter sports.
We probably wouldn't book it again knowing how far away it is located from the activities we enjoy. One forgets just how long it takes to travel in the Hills. However, that was our fault for we knew when we booked it that it was near Lead. The attraction for us in booking this house was the size and attractive rooms."

"Our group of 10 rented both units for a week. The location was great, a convenient walk to the grocery store and Main St, looking down over the 1880 Train and Hill City. Plenty of room, with leaves in the table we were able to get all 10 of us around the dinner table. The owners/managers were outstanding to deal with, especially Marcia. Quick to respond, and helpful beyond what was expected. There is so much to do in the Black Hills, and these townhomes are well located close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer & Custer State Park...and only a short 30 minutes or so into Rapid City. Don't miss the Black Hills Institute if you love dinosaurs. Their collection is amazing. Don't miss out on visiting this area. It's a bit of a hidden gem."
