"My family recently spent a week at this home for a family reunion. The house had everything we needed (utensils, blankets, game room, hot tub, even shampoo), which I have found to be rare. The home itself was beautiful, full of features, and topped off with amazing views. The owner was courteous, and cared about our family having a great experience. He had tons of recommendations for activities in the area and great dining options. He was so great to work with! Fantastic!"

"This place is great. We cooked at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for our group of 8 adults and 5 children. There were enough beds and bedding for all of us. Those with allergies would probably like to know that the basement of the house, which has the 2 bunk beds, one of the pullout couches and the second bathroom, is very musty. If your allergic to mold or can't stand strong odors, the basement will bother you. The ones in our group that had the most allergies just stayed up stairs and it worked out fine. Even though the basement smelled it was very clean, in fact, the whole house is well maintained and spotless. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay very much."

Nice, large, well stocked cabin in a great location
"After one week in the cabin here are our thoughts from a family of 6.
-beautiful location not far from the many attractions in the area. We were at each destination within 30-45 min. (took scenic roads mostly) and had a nice, quiet place to spend our evenings. We enjoyed Custer Park, Bear Country, Crystal Caves, Reptile Gardens, Black Hills Maze, Mt. Rushmore, President Wax Museum, and more.
-enjoyed viewing wildlife from the deck (deer, snowshoe rabbits, birds, chipmunks, and squirrels)
-open floor plan allows for easy interaction and makes the cabin feel even larger than it already is.
-the cabin is well stocked, especially the kitchen. The owners have clearly thought of everything travelers might need and provided it for you. Bring food and clothes and you are set.
-You access the downstairs by a steep, narrow spiral staircase. This could be difficult for some to navigate however there is also access through an exterior door.
-there is not a railing on the loft overlooking the living/dining areas. What a fun place for the kids to stay and hang out in yet it would not be ideal for small children due to the ladder you use to get to it and that there isn't a railing to protect them from falling off.
We found this cabin to be great. Just the amount of thought that went into making sure it had everything travelers would want/need made it well worth the price."
