"My family recently spent a week at this home for a family reunion. The house had everything we needed (utensils, blankets, game room, hot tub, even shampoo), which I have found to be rare. The home itself was beautiful, full of features, and topped off with amazing views. The owner was courteous, and cared about our family having a great experience. He had tons of recommendations for activities in the area and great dining options. He was so great to work with! Fantastic!"

"We stayed in this home during our 3rd Sturgis Rally and by far this was the BEST !! This home is located atop a hill with a beautiful view. The owners have kept this place very well maintained. We stayed in the downstairs apartment while the owners were upstairs and they gave us complete privacy. The pictures are very accurate regarding the description. I would highly recommend this home, and should we return to the area, we will see if this home is available again !! You won't regret staying here. Thank you Barb and Ed for allowing us to enjoy a little piece of your heaven !!!!"

"My husband and I with my daughters family always enjoyed the Blacks Hills, the cabin was very well stocked, my daughter and I enjoyed our early morning coffee on the deck, it was so peaceful, we went on the ATV trails that were close by one day, otherwise just spent time by the cabin which had a nice walk trail beside it, my little granddaughter is 18 months and I wouldn't recommend this cabin for small children with the very very steed basement stair and the railing on the deck, the cabin is right beside Terry peak and very close to all the cabins up there this would be great for skiing"

"We had a nice two day stay in this cabin on the first leg of our trip to the west coast. It is a pleasant cabin and a good base camp for visiting especially if you are visiting in the lead/deadwood and spearfish areas which are quite close by. Its a bit of a drive down to some of the more southern areas like keystone, custer, mt rushmore and the others down there but certainly doable if you don't mind driving some. We saw custer park, needles highway, sylvan lake and pactola dam areas all one day and then spent the next in deadwood and spearfish canyon which is quite close by and is arguably the most natural and beautiful area in the black hills I feel. There is a beautiful falls recreation area near in spearfish canyon that I would not miss and also bridal veil falls. Also a fun free fish hatchery in spearfish that is fun, and the indian center which I can not currently remember the name of is really excellent and informative about indian culture, art etc in the black hills. The cabin could use some more comfortable furniture for the living room...the couches and chair were not older and could stand to be replaced, but I felt they were not too bad, and they looked nice and clean. The cabin is older but they have done a lot of nice remodeling projects so I felt it was very comfortable and would definitely stay there again. It would be nice to get some trees growing around the cabin to provide a little more seclusion and shade. Also,it is up a steep drive but is fine to drive in the summer, and easy to find with directions, and once you are up there, there are may properties up there and great views if you look around a little. Im sure it is a great winter area also but would definitely need 4 wheel drive for that type of weather."
