"My family (husband, myself and two daughters: 6 and 8) stayed in this cabin for three nights. I made the mistake of checking for any new reviews two days before we left for our trip. The people that stayed before us left a horrible review, and that was all I could think about on our drive out. When we did make it to our cabin, I could not have been more pleased. The cabin was very clean, and like the previous reviewers had mentioned, literally everything was provided. The only things we needed were our toothbrushes and groceries. There was a third bedroom not listed in the description which was maybe a porch at one time that had been closed in. The amount of space was amazing. You could have multiple families staying at one time and everyone would have a bed to sleep in. It rained two of the three days we were there, so the DVD player and cabin helped while we were coming up with alternative plans for the kids. The two bathrooms were great as well. The only negative thing I can think of was that there were a few mouse traps out (I was petrified my daughters would freak out and not want to stay...even though there was absolutely NO signs of mice in the cabin), but we had a 30 second conversation about not touching the traps and they never said another word about it. It really is in the perfect location if you are doing any kind of sight-seeing in the Black Hills. If we had stayed any further south or north, it would have been too long of a drive for the kids to head out for the day. We were minutes away from Custer State Park. The owner was very timely with a response whenever I had a question before our trip, and even mailed back our deposit check that is required so my husband could shred it himself. I will recommend this cabin to all of our family and friends that make the great trek to the Black Hills!"

"My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at this cabin and it is everything it claims to be in the description. Great location, clean and comfortable. Hill City does not offer a lot in the way of good restaurants so it is a plus to be able to cook in the well thought out kitchen. The bed does have a comfortable mattress but is in serious need of updated pillows, comforter, blankets, etc. Also, it would be nice to have window coverings on the living room windows, seems eerie having them open in the evening with the seclusion of the cabin, that is my personal preference though. Even though we are not "cat people" it was so great to be greeted every day by the resident cat Callie, she was so sweet and affectionate, hung around with us a lot in the evening when we were out relaxing at the patio table."

"Great place! We loved the cabin and the peace and quiet. It's a long drive from hill city, about half an hour but it's adventurous. I think one of the best things about our vacation was coming here after a day of sightseeing and just relaxing. Wish we had more time to do that, but we rarely get to the black hills so had to see and do everything. Loved sitting on the deck although it was cold at night. Also loved the rustic feel of the cabin. It was perfect for 2 couples since there's a 2nd bathroom in the loft, made it easy to get ready in the morning. I had never stayed in a cabin or vacation rental before this and didn't know what to expect. So glad we didn't stay in a hotel! I didn't want to leave this place- great memories here!"

"We stayed at Antler Ridge in the Pines for a week. This is a beautiful home with every thing needed to enjoy a family vacation. The home is stocked with quality cookware, nice stoneware plates and plenty of silverware. The kitchen appliances were top of the line and spotless. We had plenty of room for six adults and a nine month old baby. The home is situated on a wooded hillside, with abundant wildlife to enjoy. The hot tub was clean, spacious and a joy to relax in. This is the perfect location for exploring all of the attractions in the Black Hills.
We hope to return soon !"
