"Stayed in this wonderful cabin outside of Custer for a week; so glad we chose this one! The location was perfect to see all the Black Hills attractions. The cabin was spotless; with a comfortable bed, very modern kitchen, both a charcoal and a gas grill, and beautiful fire pit. We saw deer every day, and even a hot air balloon floating overhead one morning. Connie is very pleasant to work with, our reservation was handled efficiently from the beginning. I hope to visit the Black Hills area again, and would not hesitate to rent this cabin again."

"This is a really nice home in a beautiful setting. I stayed here with 10 friends and had a great time. The place is really quiet with plenty of room to spread out so it is easy to have community time and still get away to read a book. The best thing about this rental, however, is its the owner. I rent through VRBO several times a year and have dealt with many owners and managers, and Tim is by far the best! He is very honest. Even though I have never met him personally (only on the phone), I would say he is a man of integrity. He represents his property with honesty and well founded enthusiasm. He handles the financial aspects to the rental promptly and with clarity. I would give him and his home my highest recommendation."

"Our group of 7 adults enjoyed the space and cleanliness of this cabin during our 3 night stay. Everything worked flawlessly. We especially enjoyed the hottub in the evening as we spent most of our days touring the Hills. We would have breakfast every morning at the cabin including one bbq supper. The kitchen was very well stocked for our needs. Gas and Groceries are 4 miles away in Lead. Tom and Mary are great to deal with. Mary would respond to my emails promptly making the whole process of booking a breeze! Our group agreed to book this cabin again if there's a return trip to the Black Hills in our future."

"We had more fun on this property than going to all the attractions. If you are farm people or adventurers you will enjoy the miles of walking and looking at past mining items and rolling hills and some farmland. The buildings were authentic and made you feel like you were living in the past. I enjoyed the owners scrapbook explaining the homemade items in the house and history of the area. It is a few miles off the beaten path but that is part of it's charm. So close to areas like Crazy Horse, Jewel cave, Mt. Rushmore and Hill City and Custer. Loved seeing Custer state park and it was right down the road. Owners were close by and very helpful if needed."
