  • Probably the Best Accommodations in Hot Springs

"Two bedroom, two bath condo with loads of space, on a main street in downtown Hot Springs. A historic building, and the owners have done an excellent job of converting the top floor into a modern but classic condo living space, with excellent oak wood work, a large kitchen, plenty of comfortable furniture, and all the amenities. The unit was immaculately clean, and well supplied. The owners were kind, responsive, and accommodating. As other reviews mention, there are relatively steep stairs up to the unit, but parking is right outside the sidewalk entry door. Great experience, and we highly recommend. The Reisner's, Morro Bay, CA"

  • Simple but comfortable

"This is a small two-bedroom house but in a great location for many activities in the area, and Sturgis is a small town with most of the conveniences you will need. Be aware that there is no cable TV or Wi-Fi, and there is no dining room table. The bar works for three people, but would be crowded for more than that. We were also frustrated at having no place to easily play games. We had a comfortable stay and the owners are very accommodating."

"What a wonderful place! We spent a week here with another couple to celebrate my 70th birthday. The week before I had surgery, and this place was great for relaxing. The weather was nice, so we were able to grill out several nights and even have breakfast on the deck a couple of mornings. It is ideally located for visiting the major attractions in the area. I loved the remote control starting fireplace that could be seen from both the living room AND master bedroom. When the evenings got cool, I would take my Kindle into the comfortable chair in the bedroom, start the fire and read until I got sleepy. The other couple with us enjoyed the "suite" that was made up with 2 bedrooms, a bath and a sitting area in the downstairs area. It was a private area for them to adjourn to in the evening. We worried that the place was be minimally stocked, but that was not the case! Everything we needed was there and then some. It was nice to also have the washer and dryer available. We took advantage of the hot tub to soak our tired bones after sitting in the car sightseeing. The rental staff was accommodating and friendly. There is NOTHING I would change about the place! It was magnificent!"

  • Wow

"My husband and I stayed 7 nights in this cabin and it was amazing. It is on the top of a ridge overlooking a canyon and the other side of the ridge overlooks rolling hills. The cabin itself is beautiful, with a large kitchen/dining room, living room, loft with two single beds and a huge master suite. The hot tub is clean and on a very large deck that stays pretty shaded after the early afternoon. The owners, Charlie and Jody, were great about letting us explore their property and even had pans for panning gold in the river at the bottom of the canyon (we didn't find any gold but had fun trying). They were both very easy to talk to and Charlie came to greet us when we arrived and walked us through the cabin and gave us a ton of info. A huge plus is that our dogs were allowed to come and they had fun running around the mountain top! This cabin is central to almost everything in the Black Hills and is a great place to end the day. Definitely worth the stay!"
