  • Beautiful, Comfortable, Clean Cabin!

"We had the most beautiful weekend at this cabin! Everything was perfect! It had everything you could need; we could’ve packed a little lighter had we known there was a fully furnished kitchen! We will know for next year. We went to Crazy Horse, Custer to the Black Hills Bread & Bun company, Deadwood to gamble and eat at the Deadwood Social Club, hiked Harney Peak, and went to a winery. Being in Hill City, we felt right in the middle of everything! It was perfect. In the evenings we enjoyed the hot tub and liked that it was tucked away on the side of the cabin. We also grilled out and enjoyed playing the board games at the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin. It was beautiful, comfortable, and so clean! We are already planning a trip again to this cabin for next fall!"

  • Good as gold in the Black Hills

"A gorgeous cabin in the beautifully scenic Black Hills of South Dakota, this was a great place to stay for our vacation. Located at Terry Peak ski resort, it was a short drive to historic Deadwood-- and super views as you drive! The owners were very easy to work with, and communication with them was always a breeze. This was my first time renting through VRBO, and the friendliness of the owners really made me feel at ease and confident about everything. When we arrived, the cabin itself was immaculately clean, quite comfortable, and very well appointed in the kitchen and throughout. It was spacious and roomy, and a very easy place to relax and unwind, or grill up a feast. The hot tub on the deck was awesome -- it was so wonderful to loosen muscles in it after a day trip of hiking through the Badlands, or just to relax in it simply because it was there. The cabin does not have AC, but honestly it doesn't need it. I was there during the first week of July, and the big trees on the property keep the cabin shaded, so the cabin was never hot. And being located up on the mountain, the nights cooled off nicely (into the low 50s), and the mornings had a crisp coolness that was refreshing and invigorating."

  • Snow in September!!

"Arrived on a Monday in September with beautiful 80 degree weather! We were pleasantly surprised by the house. The pictures online do not do the house justice. It is a spacious, lovely home. Four adults were very comfortable in this house. Plenty of privacy for two couples, the bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of storage space. The kitchen and dining area was very functional and worked well for the meals we had there. The living room was very homey. The décor was tasteful. The weather changed quite a bit throughout the week and we woke up Thursday, September 11, to 6 inches of snow and a temperature of 18 degrees!! The house in the snow was absolutely gorgeous!! The snow did not hinder our ability to enjoy the location or the home, as we rode the train, drove through Custer State Park, and built a fire in the wood stove. We loved watching the deer in the yard every day. The house has a beautiful view of the train and the town. It is private, yet within walking distance of restaurants, shops, etc. Very conveniently located to the Black Hills area, including Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and Mount Rushmore. The owner was friendly and available to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property!"
