"The house is just as advertised and better,we had a great time fishing for four days, there is plenty of room and everyone got their own bed,It is centrally located for where we were fishing so we spent more time fishing than driving. The weather was not very cooperative but we still managed to catch over 400 smallmouth in four days.We will be back next year for sure,we are going to make this a annual trip.Leon was great to work with and was very helpful."

"Ten motorcyclist stayed here for a week. The house was very clean, comfortable and provided everything we need. The drive to the house was difficult to get up due to loose gravel. Two of our group almost laid their bike down trying to get up to the house. Otherwise it was a great place"

"This is a wonderful and inviting log cabin. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin has all the extra touches that is need to make it feel like a home away from home. It is in a great location, close to all the Black Hill sites and activities. Being secluded, there is an abundance of wildlife, which adds to the ambiance of this beautiful property. Mr. and Mrs. Potter were very professional and responsive, always quickly addressing all my questions. I strongly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great Black Hills vacation rental."

"The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 (two children, ages 10 & 12) for an entire week! The kids loved having their own loft and a space of their own, while we loved having our own bedroom and some privacy as well. The kitchen was set up beautifully with everything that we could possibly need. Cooking at the cabin and not eating out saved us a ton of money. We did bring a crock-pot along with us so we could have some of our meals cooking while we were gone. (I'd recommend stopping for groceries in Rapid City as that's the closest location with the most reasonable prices.) We had a doe and two large bucks (in velvet) come up to the cabin while sitting outside on the patio. The best part was the temperatures -- no matter how hot it was in the rest of the area cities, the cabin was always a steady 70*. The cabin has air conditioning, but we never felt the need to use it. Our only complaint, if I absolutely had to find one, is that the curtains are not very thick so the sun shined in every morning waking us up. We solved the problem by hanging towels over the windows in both bedrooms... but that wasn't the worst thing in the world either. Overall, we loved our trip and will definitely be returning!"
