"We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was great to have so much room with such a large family. We had card games going upstairs and downstairs, someone playing pool and others watching TV all at the same time! It was also nice to have activities so close, some went snowboarding and others went to the rec center for a basketball game while others went shopping."

"It was certainly a pleasure meeting the owner, her hospitality was exemplary!
Gold Mine Lodge is a warm inviting place that has all the comforts of home plus a wonder view. Close to most of the attractions in the Blackhills it offers everything a large family would need to have an enjoyable time. The lodge is a beautiful place, I would definitely bring my family back for another stay. Our group of 8 adults and 5 children were very comfortable with the accommodations and the layout of the lodge.
While it rained most days during our 9 day stay we were able to enjoy many activities during our stay regardless of the weather. Fishing in Horse Thief Lake was filled with multiple keeper trout up to 17". Hill City also has some great restaurants, such as the Alpine Inn and Desperadoes. Wineries and Breweries are nearby and a great place to pass the time during rain.
All in all everyone in the family enjoyed our stay and have nothing negative to say about our stay.
Thank you again to the owners for sharing your property with our family! God Bless!"

"This is a small two-bedroom house but in a great location for many activities in the area, and Sturgis is a small town with most of the conveniences you will need.
Be aware that there is no cable TV or Wi-Fi, and there is no dining room table. The bar works for three people, but would be crowded for more than that. We were also frustrated at having no place to easily play games.
We had a comfortable stay and the owners are very accommodating."
