  • Large Family

"Great trip. Weather and lake were perfect, no rain or wind. Very little lake traffic. House is large, great for large groups that need separate quarters. Large deck with a great view of the lake. Fans on the deck made a big difference in the evening. Everything was clean and well organized. Very private location except for house behind. Very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this to any large family or group, but not those with disabilities. Hope to return in the future."

  • Beautiful family vacation home

"We had a wonderful experience during our 4 night stay at The Barn with our 3 young boys. The property is comfortable, clean, and inviting, and roomy enough for an active family. The first morning we woke up and were overwhelmed by the incredible view over the lake, with the mountains in the background. We are definitely coming back!"

  • Perfect Escape for relaxation, unwinding, and reconnecting!

"I cannot say enough GREAT things about this cottage and the owners; the pictures are an exact match, the scenery is beautiful and the accommodations are simply perfect. They have thought of everything from kitchen and laundry amenities, to grilling, board games, and canoes/kayaks. We were able to enjoy a lazy canoe ride right in the lake, watch the sunrise, enjoy grilling steaks, and practicing morning yoga on the spacious deck. There are several deck areas and chairs, a tire swing, tiki torches to keep the bugs away, and lovely decorating inside. Shower water pressure was good, bed was comfortable, and had access to tv channels and movies; did not really get phone reception (but that was a blessing in disguise!), and dryer was a bit slow to dry but owner let us know ahead of time so we planned accordingly. We would suggest having a smaller car due to the road space (we had a big truck and luckily were skilled at backing down the hill a short way to a larger driveway to turn around). Cottage is just a short drive to groceries and gas, and be prepared to tone your leg and butt muscles walking down steps to the cottage (again, it's a good thing!). Owners were terrific to work with, easy to contact, provided directions, pleasant and helpful. We can't wait to return when we have vacation again, and would love to come during a colder season so we can enjoy the firepit and the fireplace inside. We almost hate to let people know what a terrific place this is, but it's too good not to share. Grazie di tutto, Pat and Virg!"

  • Excellent!!

"We had a week getaway with our family, and everyone had an excellent time! From the adults to the children, no one wanted to leave. The view was breath taking! The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The owners are wonderful, very accommodating. The website pictures do not give this home justice, just a beautiful location! Even though there are other homes nearby, the trees offer a very private setting. We were just a short drive from Pigeon Forge for shopping and other attractions. We are already trying to plan our next vacation at this home, possibly this year, but most definately next year!"
