  • Amazing cabin

"This cabin is amazing, very rustic yet cozy, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long drive and several traffic jams. We would most certainly would return. I just wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights. There was so much to do, we unfortunately didn't get to do everything we wanted. We followed our GPS but it led us to the wrong place, the owner come and met us, even recommended a local restaurant. We went to Smokey Mountains National Park, and Cherokee, NC. It was only a short drive away. I would highly recommend this place with a few exceptions. The bedroom is a loft upstairs and it has a very steep staircase so I would not recommend it for anyone with small kids, the elderly, or someone with a disability. There are 2 beds, a twin size day bed, and a queen size bed in the loft, most teenagers wouldn't want to stay in the same room with their parents. This cabin is away from it all, so a car is needed. There is a creek right out the back door with a swift current so letting small kids explore would not be a good idea. There is a jacuzzi tub upstairs in the loft, but the hot water tank doesn't have the capacity to fill it. The heat from the gas stove is a bit dry, and it gets hot fast, even on low. I would recommend a cast iron kettle to put on top of the gas stove to put moisture in the air and/or keep the windows open, which has the added benefit of hearing the creek out back, which is very relaxing. The stove is electric so if you are used to cooking on gas, it will be different. The cookware is all teflon coated, if you are worried about the adverse health effects of cooking on teflon bring something to cook on from home, if you forget it's not too far away that you can't pick up something at the store."

  • Peaceful & Serene

"Cleanest cottage/ cabin I have ever stayed in...... Including beach rentals. Private lot surrounded by trees and a mountain view From front porch swing, hot tub and rocking chair. The most peaceful serene setting. Dealing with aging parents one with dementia is very draining. This was just what the dr ordered too regroup, relax & just rest. Cosby is a beautiful NON commercial little backwoods town that has a lot of character and charm. Great home cooking restaurants and if you must visit the bright lights then G.burg and P. forge Ate 1/2 he drive. We stayed local and drove up on the Foothills Pkwy from Cosby side..... gorgeous sunsets! Will be back! Debbie the property mgr is awesome to Work with. & Virginia has too be the best housekeeper ever!"

  • wonderful location, comfortable cabin!

"Such a great location near to the Cosby entrance to the smokies. An easy drive to Gatlinburg if you want to do that, but far enough to go nowhere near it too! The Cabin is super cozy and comfortable, the creek area is perfect. The children had a lot of fun and we had plenty of relaxation. Carver's orchard is just around the corner for local produce and country dinners. A super hot tub with a gorgeous view for after a days hiking. We will be back for sure! Next time we plan to take tubes for the creek."

  • Cozy Cabin

"Very cozy cabin sitting on Cosby Creek, great views in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here for four nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The porch creek side was peaceful even though there are neighbors, we never heard anything out of them. The hot tub on the bottom level gives you a view of the creek to enjoy. The only complaint was the bed in the loft which had a huge dip in it and was rather noisy. If the loft bed was fixed we would definitely stay again. A 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg with cute local restaurants near by."
